First time touring around Kingston. Fun place with lots of people and old cool limestone buildings to check out. Went on the Discovery boat tour. It was ok. Always seems to be something going on downtown. Polite people and we felt safe all the time.

We enjoyed dinner aboard the Island Star with music by the Benny Goodman Tribute Band. Food and service were amazing and all the passengers had a good time.

Kingston harbour feels like a fabled place. There's nothing like standing onshore, watching the lake horizon as a tall ship comes into view. Or spending an evening by the water while fireworks sparkle and shoot overhead. Good times.

Always lots of action: small craft, cruise boats, sailboats, nice shady parks with reasonable parking ($1.00 per hour in one at the west end) and easy access to the water; all kinds of boat rentals; the (free) ferry to Wolfe Island. And the backdrop of the gorgeous heritage stone houses and Kingston's amazing history.

We attended the Buskers Rendez-Vous at the Kingston waterfront this weekend. Lots of great acts from all over the world, fantastic restaurants and outdoor cafes, great little shops to wonder through! Kingston's downtown and waterfront is the place to be this summer!!

Coming from Halifax the waterfront here is nothing special. If the weather is good its a nice place for a walk/run but there are almost no restaurants or patios on the water.

Was in Kingston on Canada Day and the waterfront was quite lively as usual. Some much needed updating and new businesses have improved an already excellent waterfront area. Great for a stroll after dinner or a place to hang out after a day of sights.

We walked around the waterfront and up the nearby streets. The architecture is interesting and there are many good restaurants, pubs and other eating establishments to choose from.
