I camped here for two nights and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The site I had (112) was private enough while still being close to the Camp Store and the bathroom. My daughter really enjoyed the swimming area and my husband enjoyed fishing off the bridge. At dusk we went on a hike and the trail was filled... More

My son and I had an awesome time fishing today at this great conservation park. Clean, friendly staff, and beautiful setting makes this park a winner in my books. For two people entry for the entire day was under $20. Wish they had more boats to rent though as when we arrived all the boats had been signed out already.... More

We specifically visited this park to do some trail hiking and geocaching! Being out of season cost was a flat $10 to enter - this did not bother us at all as we love to support the amazing parks in our country that get limited government funding! The park was very quiet when we went - only in the day... More

This was the first time at this park and was pleasantly surprised. There is so much to do here and the beach area is kept beautifully. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time for 3 days, really enjoyed the beach, canoeing and fishing. Poison ivy all around our campsite and on the hiking trails caused us to end our trip too early. While park staff kept the campground and beach clean they should do more to control poison ivy around the campsites and hiking trails.
