This is a flying museum where you can buy a ride in numerous types of aircraft from a DeHavilland Chipmunk to a Lancaster Bomber. There's a cafe on the premises which has great food for a reasonable price.

CWHM is a living history of the aviation past of Canadian flight in wartime and gives an up close hands-on look at our flying past. The journey into the past starts in the entry to the museum and continues through the hangar and onto the tarmac. We managed to get there for the last day of the B-17 Sentimental Journey... More

We visited here in June but I always forget to write reviews. The warplane heritage museum is a great place to visit. We have visited here about 5 times in 4 years. Every year we enjoy the father's day air show because it's just simply amazing! It's wonderful watching planes soar over your head and where we live it's so... More

I have been here twice, separated by about 4 years. It was even better the second time, and I will go again. If you go, be sure to get the guided tour of the airplanes outdoors. That was SO informative! I am by no means an engineer, but one cannot help but marvel at these displays and the ingenuity that... More

Visited today with my husband and 2 boys. The kids are big airplane fans. It was nice to learn a little bit of history and see all the planes. Thinking of a family membership so we can fly in one of the planes :)

a great place to visit and take great photos of these beautifully preserved planes. A great time to go is on Nov 11 for a memorial service and then walk around the museum for free, any other time there is a fee.

What a phenomenal experience! This interactive, family-friendly museum is sure to impress. It has always been a favourite place for me and my family to visit over and over again. The care and attention given by volunteers to maintaining these stately aircraft is remarkable. The gift shop is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate, and you can watch aircraft landing and... More

Great Great Museum. One of the best in Canada and one of the best Warplane museums in the world. The volunteers there are truly committed to keeping the planes in immaculate condition. Been there several times and always enjoyed the changes in the selection of planes to look at. And they are constantly restoring WWII aircraft. So you never know... More

This is a well preserved historical collection of airplanes. Any kid ought to see it. And grown ups too. The airplanes are easily accessible and you can even get in some of them. The museum is informative and full of information about the planes and what they were used for. More importantly and more interesting are the people who work/volunteer... More
