I was at CWHM recently for their Remembrance Day event, which held almost 3000 people and brought tears to my eyes. Behind the speakers was the great Lancaster bomber, Vera, which I learned is one of only two air-worthy Lancasters remaining in the world. Following the ceremony people were allowed to walk through the museum and check out the rest... More

Went with fiancee and enjoyed the day. Ample free parking. It was quiet when we were there which was nice to be able to take our time and tour around. Wish it was a little more hands on , or perhaps a guided tour, but i did enjoy being able to walk around and direct ourselves

I have been to the CWHM a few times and each time I am amazed and inspired by two things: the dedication of the volunteers and staff who maintain these aircraft, and the aircrews who flew in them. It is a must visit when in Hamilton!

This was my first time to CWH. I really enjoyed seeing all of the old plans and reading about their history. It is nice to see how much of the air force in those times were manufactured here in Ontario. There are a few planes that you can climb inside and see a glimpse of our history and learn how... More

I've been to CWH many times over the years for visits and events, by myself and with my family. It's always exciting to see what's new with restoration projects and just to see the history. It isn't hard to imagine what these machines were like in active duty and what courage and dedication it took by all the people who... More

My husband and I our big fans of the Canadian warplane museum that we even had our wedding here. Beautiful venue, amazing staff and amazing memories to last a life time. Everyone enjoyed themselves ( some maybe too much) and we only received wonderful feedback. We liked the thought of the guest being able to entertain themselves by walking around... More

This is a flying museum where you can buy a ride in numerous types of aircraft from a DeHavilland Chipmunk to a Lancaster Bomber. There's a cafe on the premises which has great food for a reasonable price.

CWHM is a living history of the aviation past of Canadian flight in wartime and gives an up close hands-on look at our flying past. The journey into the past starts in the entry to the museum and continues through the hangar and onto the tarmac. We managed to get there for the last day of the B-17 Sentimental Journey... More

We visited here in June but I always forget to write reviews. The warplane heritage museum is a great place to visit. We have visited here about 5 times in 4 years. Every year we enjoy the father's day air show because it's just simply amazing! It's wonderful watching planes soar over your head and where we live it's so... More
