A 'must visit' for anyone who is even remotely interested in aviation and in particular canadian aviation. We spent half a day here talking to the volunteers restoring the Bollingbroke and even got a tour of the Lancaster by one of the flight engineers. This museum has it all...

We took our grandchildren here for the afternoon. They loved all the planes and there were a couple of simulators that they also enjoyed. Will take them again when they are a bit older again

I absolutely love this museum. It is worth a visit even if you have not had much interest for aviation. Great way to spend a day!

Lots of planes to see. Saw the Lancaster Bomber take off which was pretty cool. Can also go into some planes

The museum has a number of interesting planes to look at. Even if you are not into history and just want something to do with the kids this place is a great choice. Every time we have been it has not been too busy!

We took our four small boys to this museum. It was great. They had exhibits that the boys could actually climb into. There was an airplane cockpit they were pretending to fly in. They even have flight simulators. They were a little hard for the boys but they loved it. The volunteers were so nice and knowledgeable. I'd like to... More

This place has lots of potential and interesting history BUT it requires quality time to enjoy it. I went hear on one of the holidays it was a zoo.

The museum is located in a large hangar just south of Hamilton airport. Parking is free and the entry fee is modest. There are several major WWII planes on display, including a Spitfire, a Hurricane, and one of the only two Lancaster bombers still airworthy. The highlight for my son and me was a film strip with a commentary by... More

In July this year I flew from Glasgow to Toronto in Canada, I booked my flights Canadian Affair, flights are with Air Transat. I stayed in the Holiday Inn on Argus road in Oakville ontario, the hotel is very friendly and the facilities are excellent. I travelled to the hotel from Toronto International Airport by Limousine, it's the most effective... More

I was at CWHM recently for their Remembrance Day event, which held almost 3000 people and brought tears to my eyes. Behind the speakers was the great Lancaster bomber, Vera, which I learned is one of only two air-worthy Lancasters remaining in the world. Following the ceremony people were allowed to walk through the museum and check out the rest... More
