Loves seeing the old planes. Even the grand daughter (age 6) enjoyed it. Watching the small old piper cubs and biplanes taking off and landing was an extra bonus. If you happen to be there at the right time you can even pay a little extra to one of the pilots and take a short flight.

Great place to visit and take photos. We visited with our kids and they had a lot of fun. We really enjoyed seeing all the planes. Good day out for family

When my two grandsons visit, it's always, "Hey gramps! Can you take us to that place where they have all those neat airplanes and stuff?" The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is SO worth a visit. Young and old alike will become spellbound by the eclectic collection of aviation paraphernalia. This museum has a definite Wow! factor, especially when one is... More

This is a good way to spend a few hours with the kids on a educational trip. Some of the kids might be board but overall very interesting

We visited the kids festival here on March break and found it to be such a great place for activities for the munchkins!

For the 'gray-haired' set; especially those who remember WWII; having a close-up with the machines that fought and won the Battle of Britain; as well as destroying Germany's ability to replace or expand its war machine - is an experience. I remember making models... More

Some of the coolest airplanes ever built are here and you can get up close for a real good look. I used to take my young kids here during the winter to pass an afternoon. The Lancaster is amazing and if you are there at the right time, they roll it out and fly it! It's one of two flying... More

this Museum is BY FAR the best warplane museum a person could visit!! We went there on remembrance day 2013 and it was incredible, the ceremony was exceptional, and the old bombers, taxiing on the tarmac outside and doing flyovers, gave me the chills!! You can even make donations to the museum and go for a flight in different aircraft.... More
