What a great visit, kids are allowed to sit in aircraft that are being restored and learn how a joy stick works. The RCAF Lancaster was being made ready for its flight in August to the UK when it will fly with the BOBMF, all staff here are prepared to spend time talking over what they do and talk you... More

Visited the museum today with my wife and 2 boys (8 and 2) and what a great day this turned out to be. From the friendly volunteer staff to the amazing planes on display this place certainly exceeded our expectations. There aren't too many places in the world where you can get up close with a WW2 Lancaster bomber, the... More

Came here on a rainy afternoon for something to do with 2 boys, aged 12 and 10. Complete disappointment. You start out by reading some boards about Canada's war history. Then you can see some helmets worn by pilots. Seriously, helmets! Once you come out of what they call the "gallery", you enter the "Hangar" filled with old planes. My... More

Restoration was being done on site. We saw planes landing and flights were offered as well. Thoroughly enjoyed...even though it took 2 hours to get there.

This is a great place to go see the flying machines of war. Lots of planes in the hanger to see. We were a bit disappointed that there was a lot of planes with ladders or stairs to them but you couldn't go up for a better look. Only if you were with a tour guide you could go. And... More

Fantastic place to spend most of the day. The volunteers are just so helpful & informative. Good little café serving burgers etc. I was lucky enough to get a flight in the Lancaster which is definitely the star of the show. If you can arrange to be there when she is flying then it definitely adds something special to the... More

Great air museum. The Lancaster is one of only 2 in the world. We had a guide that took us around to the planes outside. Very informative. If you like war history be sure not to miss this place!
