I live in Waterdown and went to the Saturday morning Farmer's Market at the Legion Hall this weekend. It had a great selection of vegetables, food, bakery items, etc. It's also nice that the BIA (Business Improvement Association) supports our local farmers by organizing this market, as well as supporting our local Veteran's Legion Frootogo was not a vendor at... Once upon a time this was a much smaller operation with an enjoyable wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, you could pick some apples and you could check out their small food truck that sold some great soup etc. Today, it is a behemoth where you pay to go through the corn maze, pay to go on the wagon ride... We've been to Frootogo twice and picked apples...the first time there was no charge to run through the fantastic hay maze...they have since added charges for just about everything. However, we did find their crop to be incredible and love every apple we've bought from there. The bakery was 'okay' but the bottom line is that we've had positive experiences... More

The farm itself is not too bad for young kids, but just don't expect to have any questions or needs answered by the staff and family members. Our mom & kids group booked a farm tour a couple years back and when a few of us showed up late the following year, asking for the whereabouts of our group on... More

Despite the recent scandal (Who hasn't said/done the wrong thing on a bad day before? They have appologized and hopefully learned from it) we decided to take our kids (2 and 4yrs) on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. There is a very large play area with sandbox, slides, trikes and more that kept the kids happily and independently entertained for an... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Frootogo Orchards today. I like the fact that there were PLENTY of trees to pick apples from and we weren't told to go to a single area as has happened with other orchards.

This is basically an apple U pick with a few activities for kids, a small selection of jams and preserves and an eatery with limited menu and not very tasty. It's no great value. As far as I'm concerned go here to pick apples if convenient. I'd prefer the St. Jacobs market.

I have visited Frootogo Orchards many times, yesterdays visit was no different than my past visits...I found the staff very friendly and helpful. This is a SAFE and fun place to visit. I have driven over an hour to visit this location and will continue to do so. Thank-you Frootogo Orchards for a lovely visit! :)

Decided to take our young family for a little visit. Our 2.5 year old loved the play space (lots of space and lots of toys to play with), and was so excited over the baby goats, chickens and rabbits. Staff was friendly, had no problem with me breastfeeding my 5 week old baby on a park bench in the play... More
