Gage Park is not a wilderness area, nor conservation area both of which I enjoy in other areas of Hamilton, however it is an oasis in the east end of Hamilton. The area once upon a time was on the edge of town where my great grand parents resided. Today after several face lifting efforts the glory of the park... More

Gage Park is host to many excellent festivals. Plus there is a Childrens Museum and your free to tour the greenhouses which are amazing. Lots of washroom facilities, puddle parks for the kids and enuff squirrels to keep you laughing at their antics all day!

My girlfriend and I visited Gage Park for It's Your Festival. The park was well maintained, and the festival was very fun. Definitely a great place to spend a sunny summer afternoon.

It is a nice park, good climbers, and splashpad did not like there was only one washroom. just needed to a bathing suit long wait. If the bathrooms had have been better would have stayed the day.

Gage park is a beautiful park to enjoy your picnic. There is a splash pad for children. Lots of big shady trees to sit under and relax. A few restaurants nearby to have take out in the park.

Probably nice retreat for people from around but not more than that. Nice old trees, nice flowers. A small water splash and few playgrounds. The greenhouse was closed so I can't comment on that. From outside looked pretty small though. The area of the whole park: probably an acre. Save your time travelling there and enjoy the closest park to you.
