I purchased a membership. There are always new exhibits for the kids to enjoy. I have never taken any classes, but there are a great variety available. I do enjoy wandering the ever hanging gardens & trails. The Wed night jazz and blues concerts are great too. A clean & well run place.

We have a newborn and have made a point to be outdoors, but never factored in if good for strollers. We figured this would be a good place to try. We also found coupons good until Oct 2014 via Burlington tourism. If you do not want to eat at their restaurant, there is a diner type shack with picnic areas... More

We spent a Saturday there for a photo shoot. It was the perfect place to be, and thank goodness the weather was on our side. Absolutely beautiful gardens, peaceful and relaxing. You can plan to spend half a day there and take leisurely strolls . We also had lunch at the restaurant there. Service was good , and customer service... More

First of all, I'm not the botanical/flora type. I went there specifically to take my Mom. I guess she enjoyed it. I really expected to see more variety and color, but it didn't really live up to my expectations. The best part was that we actually had to pay to get in! Maybe because it was July, but it seemed... Have visited for various events. Grounds always a treat and now the rock garden to be revived. Cant ask for more for a quiet retreat, lovely lunch, interesting trails or just admiring the amazing gardens and plants and animals that inhabit the botanical gardens.

If you like a quiet place, if you are a plant lover, you can't miss it. They also have a couple of restaurants where you can have good food at not expensive prices. You'll walk almost the whole day and visit beautiful gardens. It really worth the trip to Hamilton.

Lots of well-maintained and attractive areas focusing on certain types of plants, i.e. rose garden, lilac dell, each having their own best viewing time. Lots of natural trails and areas to run and play. The Centre is full of displays that change regularly and offers lots of gardening or general interest courses throughout the year.

Anytime I have out of town visiting the house here than I always like to take them to the RBG for a day's outing. There is always something to see despite the weather outside. That is one always view their various flowers displays either inside their buildings and/or outside. Mind you there is a lot of walking to do outside.... More

First of all, they should reduce the admission cost since the Rock Garden is closed. There were hardly any flowers in bloom (total lack of color) and even the flowers indoor looks sick and in dire need of pruning, trimming and watering! This place has run down drastically since our last visit. Signage around the garden was poor and it... More

We were visiting on a rainy day and were disappointed to find there is not much inside, other than 5 or 6 wedding going on!!!! It appeared to us as if much of the indoor space is devoted to meeting rooms and banquet space. The outdoors had beautiful flower gardens but not enough to do for my little ones who... More
