I am not a garden fan, so, I didn't have much expection prior to the trip. However, it turns out to a pretty well experience. The RBG centre contains 5 parts - the RBG Centre, Hendrie Park, Laking Garden, Rick Garden and the Arboretum. RBG centre gives me a good start of the journey, there was a very nice staff... more

I'm local and go a couple of times a year. During the summer the outside gardens they have a fantastic show of Sculpture. That alone is worth the price of admission! Since it's so huge it's hard to see everything in a day so I recommend taking the shuttle bus from one section to another. The Rock Garden is my... more

This place was designed to be great. Unfortunately, it has become rundown and needs an infusion of refurbishing. Labelling of plants was missing or lacking. Directions to and from the various garden areas sets visitors up to become lost easily. Yes, it happened to us. In the Arboretum, The avenue of trees is a mess. No markings, no idea where... more

Visit the main building as well as the gardens - the Mediterranean garden is outstanding and is in full glory in January.  The garden is sure to lift your spirits and you'll believe there WILL be warmth again. more

We visited the RBG during the Labor Day weekend. Thanks to the excellent weather we really enjoyed the visit. I wish we had more time since we could visit only 2 of the 5 major garden areas. The highlight of our visit was lunch at the Tea Room that overlooks the Rock Garden. Good food and excellent views of the... more

I go every year to see all the roses. There are millions of roses. With a digital camera you can go crazy. Can't wait to go back this year. The peonies are also well worth the trip. more

Yes the Rock Garedens get lots of wedding parties as do the rose gardens across from the HQ building But there is still Laking gardens and the lilac dell and the indoor mediteranean gardens inside the HQ building. The trails are incredible some... more
