This is a great place between Flamborough and Hamilton that you get to either drive your personal vehicle ( careful of mirrors + monkeys ) or take the organized bus thru. I always take my car. Animals seem happy, at least they get to live outside in the open and not in cages.

We did the bus tour because we didn’t want the monkeys to damage our car (I highly recommend this if you don't want monkeys jumping all over your vehicle). We saw two monkeys on top of a van while there. We saw lions roaming freely, monkeys, bison and elk playing in the water, white rhinos, giraffes, llamas, ostriches, zebras, deer,... More

Not overly huge but big enough to keep you & the kids busy all day long....The train, boat and bus ride are all very enjoyable and get you off your feet for awhile. The splash pd is a great end of the day activity for all to refresh with. The food isn't too highly priced and decent selection too. It... More

This was a great thing to do with the kids! The animals get so close! We were excited and squealing the whole time in the car!

I always have fun when I go to African Lion Safari - however can't give it a great score due to the elephant riding

How animals are treated here is disgusting! Me and my children aged 5 and 10 began crying when we saw the elephants preform unnatural tricks and give people rides, while their trainer stood by them with a bull hook! Hopefully African Lion Safari will stop exploiting these beautiful beings!!!! Traumatizing for children!!

Really great place to go . If you drive through with your own car avoid the monkey section.Lots of animals to see. There is a fabulous splash pad with slides and all sorts of things. The boat ride is included in the price as is the train ride. They put on some great shows. Birds of prey and the elephant... More

Always a pleasant day. I always take the tour bus instead of driving my car through the safari to be safe but I may drive through myself next time.

It's great place to visit for all ages, if you like animals close up or at a distance they have a huge selection. It is fun to watch the look on the kids faces when they can actually touch the animals that they remember from their story books. It's great for the adults to have a day out and do... More
