Hamilton Waterfront Trolley

We take our grand children once a year, they just love going on the train. Lots to see. In the middle the train stops for a few minute break. Ask what seats are less bumpy.

I rode the Hamilton Waterfront Trolley with my 7-year-old son in August 2015. We have also rode this trolley when it was chartered as part of Ghost Walks’ “Hamilton’s Dark Trolley Tour.” The Hamilton Waterfront Trolley is an open-air, rubber-wheeled, gasoline powered trolley that runs along Hamilton’s Waterfront Trail and Desjardins Recreation Trail. The cars have steel undercarriages with wooden... More

What a nice ride. We saw a part of Hamilton that we didn't know existed and it was beautiful! Great commentary as well.

Took this tour recently and was really impressed with the friendly and informative guide and driver. The entire tour was just over an hour, and the guide had terrific information about the waterfront, the forests, the residential developments, etc. One of my companions has some mobility issues, and this was a great tour for all of us. Young or old,... More

I do this with the family every year. Take the grandkids and save your legs! Lots of fun; bit over-priced.

I found the trolley ride quite pricey and more then one would care to spend for a ride on a bumpy uncomfortable noisy park ride of sorts. For 2 Adults it cost us $10 and $3 for kids 4 to 12 so for a family that is better part of $20. The tour announcer onboard was a bored highschool kid... More

Take this open minibus along the edge of the waterfront. Taking in the sights of migrating birds See the boats of all sizes as you gently travel along at ten miles an hour. Travel from Hamilton`s waterfront at John and James Street. Where there is a fine restaurant. An ice-cream stand for the young and old. The whole adventure takes... More

Overall a very beautiful tour of one of Hamilton's most beautiful areas. On a nice summer day this is a great tour for a couple, a family, friends, neighbours, or basically anyone in between. My only complaint would be it can get uncomfortable on your bottom if you do not bring something softer to sit on. The wooden benches are... More
