Excellent conservation area with 2 amazing waterfalls, one of them (Tews) is about 40 m high and looks like a tropical waterfall :) . Amazing trail with stunning views of the gorge, it looks like a different world once you start hiking the trail. It has connections with Bruce Trail, and 2 parking slots, one on each fall. Also it... Great walk between the Tews and Webster's Falls in spring. Access to bottom of Webster's Falls is blocked, but some people still got there. There must have jumped the fence...

The Spencer Gorge area is a beautiful spot to go and hike around a bit, or just to relax and spend the afternoon. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings just add to the serenity. Definitely one of the must sees in the Hamilton area.

I used to love going here but last year they closed the bottom of the fall off indefinitely. Apparently their City of Waterfalls campaign worked a bit too well and the Eco system was being damaged as well as too much wear and tear on the stairs. It really lost its appeal for me not being able to play under... More

A great place to spend the day! Two beautiful waterfalls, and after a long hike, a beautiful view of the escarpment, the west end of the city and Dundas from Dundas Peak. Relics of the old grist mill and the family that operatedi it remain. Parts of the trail to the peak are a little tricky, but not overwhelming. My... More

My husband and I planned a day trip with my cousins to visit the area. I had never been to Webster's Falls Park or Spencer Gorge. It was a fall day, the leaves were changing, even though it was raining it added to the elegance of the area. A must see attraction.

A nice place to go for a hike especially in the fall. The gorge provides ample parking and you can google the directions easily. The main paths are well maintained.

Tew falls is actually higher than Niagara! The outlooks are for those shy of heights. The main trail leads to the Dundas Lookout and offers a view of the whole town of Dundas. Make sure you pay for parking!

Although Niagara Falls is THE tourist attraction, Webster's Falls and Tew's Falls, within the Spencer Gorge Conservation area, are well worth the detour. Areas for picnicking and the Dundas lookout point make it a sure win with couples and families alike. We walk a 12km loop from downtown Dundas to the lookout point, to Tew's then Webster's, down by Spencer... More

This place is absolutely beautiful in both summer and winter. It is not published anywhere but provided you do not leave anything in a parking lot, you can stay and camp overnight.
