Nice church, but given all the hype, it's not as impressive as I was expecting. The church is beautiful, but given it was reviewed as the #1 site in Guelph to visit, I was kinda disappointed.

Taking in all of the great features and archtecture of the magnifient structure, not only is the out side breath taking but the interior as well. Guelph should be very pleased to have such a wonderful building and also not far away from some other historical landmarks within the citys boundries . this is a great walking tour for groups... It is so nice to see the Basilica complete! Beautiful! Take a look at the mosaic they uncovered on the alter when they removed the carpeting.

One of those places that I stop by and look at any time I can when I am in Guelph. The Architecture ... The Art ... The Commanding View Last time I was there it was undergoing some repair and restoration so next time I am really looking forward to seeing how they did with the old girl. Go inside... More

Beautiful church! The mass itself was nice and it was easy to hear the priest and lectors despite the huge size of it. Parking downtown and then walking to the church was fine (lots of parking).

We returned for mass today -- the first time after a very, very long removation -- and the church is even more beautiful than it was in the past. And much brighter. Also, it has recently been named a Basilica. Well worth a visit.

This church, now a basilica, is Guelph's most prominent landmark. From most any direction you come to the city you see the twin towers and say "there's Guelph". "Catholic hill" also is home to the Guelph Civic Museum. Both the church and the museum deserve a visit.

This is a historic church with beautiful paintings inside and has been under construction much of 2014, however is now open.
