I spent many summer days at Crystal Beach as a young boy in the 1950's. I miss the Logan Berry stand and most the cinnamon suckers. There was nickle day (each ride a nickle), Queeno Day (free ride with a Queeno soda bottle cap). I use to get the bottle caps from the hot dog stands on Sheridan Road (pre... More

We've been to this restaurant a few times now. Food and service has always been great. Menu has many great choices to choose from. Most of their food is made from scratch. French onion soup is best I've ever had. I would recommend this place for a good reasonably priced meal.

Dont bother it has no more parking. and its and there is nothing to do. no shops or anything. the picnic area is now fenced off and over 300 parking spots are gone. don't waist your time coming . go to Wasaga Beach its much more family oriented. Crystal Beach days are over.

This was the location for a family reunion in the midst of summer. Once a resort that was accessed by ferry from Buffalo, it is now a closed community with a private beach. But, next to the private beach is a public beach area. There are motels in the area. It was a perfect for us since the crowds were... More

Nothing special down there. A beach in the summer full of people everywhere...snack bar and washroom....a couple stores around....that's it.

Large clean beach with an amazing view of lake Erie, warm clean water, many little shops and bars/restaurants with in walking distance!

This is a beautiful white sand beach, kept very clean. It is huge, lots of people from everywhere on weekends, and summer time. During the week not so busy. This is a great palce for a family, or friends outing. There is a small snack bar, but a few good restaurants near by. In a small community, a nice drive... More

Once upon a time Crystal Beach, Ontario was the Coney Island of the Niagara Region. Gone are the days of the giant roller coaster and the carnival rides, gone are the games of chance. And sadly, gone are the days of the big, wood floor dance hall with throngs of people dancing away to the live music of Tommy Dorsey... More

Nice public beach. Family oriented. Clean. Nice and shallow for kids. Gets deep after the roped area. Great swimming. $5 park all day. Small snack bar. Should have separate change rooms / bathrooms. Sometimes a line up for ladies.

Overall the beach was great, clean water. Our 2-year old son loved it. It got crowded in the afternoon though. It was Labour day weekend so crowd was not unexpected. Washrooms were only a few and not enough for so many people. The male washroom at the Waterfront park was even more disgusting. Needs proper maintenance.
