It was a lovely break from from the winter rain mixed with snow. You could go there in your short sleeves and feel like you are vacationing in a tropical destination. It smelled wonderful and I could feel myself relaxing as the peaceful environment enveloped me.

The above title explains it all. That God, the creator would make these short-lived creatures so beautiful! To imagine that they are able to navigate thousands of miles. The Monarch butterfly finds it way to Mexico. It is inconceivable that there is no plan to the creation. To think that these creatures go from flower to flower, feed themselves, find... More

Other than it being so humid which is required for the butterflies it's a lovely little place to visit for a few hours. Wear bright colours and you will likely find a friend or two. My children love it here and we will continue to visit one or two times per year.

Disclaimer, I am a MASSIVE fan of the butterfly conservatory in Niagara Falls, we go there every couple of weeks even though we're in Toronto. The bad: - it's in the middle of nowhere, we were looking for something to go to after but we saw no signs nothing. - the little "museum" exhibit is tiny, though nice to look... More

Very small conservatory. You can literally walk through it within 5 min. It wasn't really worth the money.

You either can enjoy watching 100's of butterflies, or it quickly bores you to pieces. I can go to a butterfly house a few times a year, take pictures, and decompress. If you can enjoy it, the Cambridge Conservatory is a relaxing place. Better if they had a cafe for a mid-visit coffee. Better if they had a selection of... More

Just had Mother's Day tea and a visit with the butterflies. The kids enjoyed seeing all of the butterfly species. It's extra cool when some of them land on you. It's quite warm in there because its a tropical green house, so dress light. Food was just ok, but enjoyed the Mother's Day event all the same.

This was an amazing journey. We had friends visiting with one in a wheelchair. We had a great time, and it was lovely for the person who couldn't walk to get the same experience as we did. Having butterflies land on her arms made her want to stay forever.

Two of my friends and I decided to do a girls day and included the butterfly conservatory in our activities for the day. Great choice! We really enjoyed seeing all of the different types of butterflies and learning about the monarch migration. I selected August as the date I visited but I'm not sure of exactly when it was. Check...
