Although I have not done the entire trail it is petty good. Good directional maps trails, scenery is great. This is a trail which goes through out the city and along lake.

I live close to the lake so for me it's a fun time out, there is a park for kids not not the greatest parking. Tons of things to do around the waterfront, but the waterfront itself is okay.

Last time I went out to Burlington my daughter was small. Low and behold 10 years later I was completely amazed by the waterfront. Although I didn't travel the entire trail, it can go for quite a distance, we did walk the park I was surprised at the pedestrian pier and the two sand beaches. We have gone twice more... More

Huge willow trees, public art, all ages out for a stroll. It's great to have this access to the lakeshore - well-designed, spacious enough so it doesn't feel crowded.

We walked down the trail from behind the hotel and well past Spencer's Restaurant. The grass needs a lot of attention, perhaps it has insect damage. I also expected many more flowers along the way. I think the signage needs to be clear for walking and biking. Good start.

The City of Burlington has done a commendable job developing and maintaining Spencer Smith Park and the Burlington Waterfront Trail. The trail itself links with a larger paved network of paths that spans Burlington. I have been using this path network to inline skate ("rollerblade") for decades and always enjoy myself. Great for small children, seniors, dogs, everyone! A newer... More

You can walk along the pier sipping on a latte or enjoying a gelato, or sit and people watch. A great little side play ground for children by Spencer's. Or keep walking, riding, roller blading and head out further towards Stoney creek. You can do it all, you can't go wrong when your walking along the waters edge!
