There is a multi level parking facility behind the Esso Station at the foot of Lakeshore & Locust/Brant Street. You can walk over to the Pier and then west all the way to the Cafe at the other end of Spencer Smith Park, where they have ice skating in the winter and remote control boats (bring your own or watch)... An excellent walk to the liftbridge from Spencer Smith park. Paved and gravel paths shared by walkers, bikes and roller-bladers. Traffic a bit busy sometimes.

I love the Burlington waterfront area so much that my fiance and I moved here a few years ago. The trail is paved and quite wide, so it's great for walking, rollerblading and biking. The best time to go is in early spring when the cherry blossoms bloom. It's quite spectacular!

The very best thing about Burlington is the water front and all the events. You can walk there in 3 mins and enjoy the view. All we need is a great coffee shop inside the park.

A great place for everyone to visit. The pathways are perfect for walking, bikes and strollers. You can go for as long as you want, enjoying the water view, the others enjoying the area and the varieties of activities. A wonderful play area for children, the pond for toy boats in the summer and perfect for skating in the winter.... More

beautiful lakefront park and restaurant and the brand new pier makes this a great place for the many events that take place there. Beautifully made naval monuments are a nice sight.

I love being along the Waterfront Trail along Lake Ontario as it is such a beautiful, relaxing view especially right near the Spencer Smith Park in Burlington. I love it there, seeing the Burlington Skyway bridge and over Lake Ontario towards Hamilton and Stoney Creek.

This is such a great trail for sightseeing by bicycle. There's Spencer Smith Park, the lift bridge, and Hutch's for ice cream. It's not a challenging terrain, but that just means you can confidently look around at beautiful Lake Ontario, and, if you're lucky, marvel at the engineering as the lift bridge rises and falls. It's a personal favourite of... More

It's funny how many people love so close yet never venture down to the waterfront. It is a beautiful place with stunning views and loads of places to sit and play. A new playground and splash pad by the visitors centre or a more secluded walk along the trail offers something for everyone. Tip: it is stunning in winter time... More

Beautiful marina walk way with some wonderful views. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area (try the Gelataria for some great Italian gelato). Our younger kids love the play area and the little splash area too. Good fun to be had for all ages. Local food at the food area has got some good food at very reasonable... More
