Had a blast with the family at Twin Valley Zoo. It wasn't very big but the enclosures were pretty kool and almost all the animals were out. It was a scorching hot out, 90% of everything was well shaded. Paid the $2.50 extra for the Lil Ray's Reptile exhibit and it was well worth it. My son had a blast... More

This family run attraction is lots of fun for the whole family. Buy some animal food at the entrance and enjoy the goat petting area where they eat out of your hand or the bears that catch the peanuts from their very large enclosure. The property is well treed, lots of picnic areas, and a great variety of animals. There... More

We invited few of my son's friends to the Twin Valley Zoo for a birthday party. The zoo is not very large, manageable to see everything in a hour. There was an animal show with baby animals brought out for kids to see and touch, it was also very educational as the staff told you about animal habits and where... More

Yes this is a quiet little spot, nice for tromping around with little ones...until you stop to think about where you are and what you are doing and give your head a shake. What are your children learning by watching these beautiful animals penned up completely against their natural ways? Large wild cats (who would normally be moving freely about... More

We took our grandchildren there today. They were selling food to feed the bears but the bears were so far away you could barely see them let alone throw food to them. Shows children getting horse rides on the website we didn't even see a horse. Maybe it is because it was the beginning of the year but for what... More

Went to the zoo for a trip at a day camp I worked at and will never return. The animals are kept in quite small cages, especially for the large cats. Some exhibits were quite smelly and dirty looking. Not to mention that the layout left some of the prey animals too close to the predatory animals which results in... More

I have been going to this zoo for a number of years since before there was a charge for admission. It is on the personal property of an older couple who take care of it. They have expanded and now they have a gift shop and charge admission but it is very reasonable. The animals are very well taken care... More

Twin valley is a great zoo with lots to see and do. It is a small zoo packed with lots of animals that have lots of room. It is just the right size for smaller kids as there isn't a lot of walking. The price is great for families, there is a canteen and gift shop, but you can bring... More

I agree with watermom2, the big cats need more space. The male lion was very angry and charged the cage wanting to attack us. The fence did not seem strong enough to keep him in. I grabbed my son and ran in fear. I think it is a matter of time before he gets out. I did not enjoy the... More
