Brantwood Farms. Bad experience with Easter Eggstravaganza 2022.
We put down the money to reserve an Easter Event with Brantwood farms this year. On the day of the event a bad storm came with strong wind and rain, therefore we called in asking if it was possible to cancel or reschedule – there was no way we could go-we have 2 and 4 year olds who obviously would not enjoy the fun in such weather (adults will suffer too). The lady on the phone answered “yes, you can get a refund or reschedule if available- just send an e-mail to info@brantwoodfarms.com explaining the situation”. We did send it right away. No one either contacted us, or responded to an email. In stead, we received a message thanking us for coming. We never came, people, and notified you about that. Time passed and we called in again, explained the situation from the scratch, they collected the info and that’s it. Silence. No response, no refund. The expected refund would have been spent at the farm anyways on another occasion. Not happy about being snuffed out.

More things to entertain the kids, have stuff available that you advertise . Make it worth the $10.00 a person you charge.
I took my 3 grandchildren and daughter in law to Christmas on the farm today at 2:30. We left by 3. It was not worth the money we paid . One craft gluing pompous on popsicle sticks( glue would not stick) they kept falling off . They maybe should have had colouring or something. Should have had a few crafts . The kids got to talk to Santa from a distance. There should have been elves there talking to the kids or walking around the farm . The animals were all sleeping. Slides should have been wiped down after the rain . We were told there was a basket ball net and other things for the kids outside. Right the basket ball nets were about 12 ‘ high and the ball was a smooshed pumpkin and another one that was soft. We decided to make the most of it and go to the fires and have a hot chocolate. Guess what. No hot chocolate. They were sold out. It wasn’t even three o’clock. We have been to events there before and thoroughly enjoyed it but very disappointed this time.

Went to their Autumn festival on Thanksgiving day with our Children and Grandchildren. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Grandkids were exhausted after 4 hours of family fun. Well worth the money for the tickets, for everyone to enjoy the day. Would absolutely recommend this activity through the Fall months for any family.

We went their for Easter Egg hunt and my kids absolutely loved the experience. They want to go again and again. They clicked the picture with bunny, enjoyed their tractor ride and relished their take home treat.

Much more than a farm. We've come here many times to pick and buy fresh, high quality produce, Strawberry and apple picking are our favourite activities here.

Love their fresh produce from their fields. They also have lots of vegetables and fruit. My kids love the big and nice strawberry patch. Best strawberries (big & sweet strawberries) in town.

Lots of activities for kids. Face painting too. Pumpkins seemed expensive. Some food for sale but mostly burgers and fries. Kept my friend’s son busy.

I went to Brantwood Farms with a group home I worked at, for family night. We thought it would be a fun evening outing the children in the home could invite their families to. Boy were we wrong!
We got there 15 minutes before our wagon tour was scheduled and were told very rudely that we were late and to hurry up. The tour was driven by an old man and a woman. The old man made very rude sexual comments about the woman the entire time. A dog accompanied us who was allowed to jump on and off of a moving tractor, almost getting run over twice.
We were taken to the "magical forest" which turned out to be a stand of trees overlooking a cliff with cheap garden decorations nailed to the trees. When we got there someone in a car was doing drugs. They waved to the people guiding us, who waved back and made jokes about it, even though we were clearly appalled at the smell of the drugs.
The straw castle was not built and thought they promised the kids they would be able to play in it, we got there to find it half built and were told rudely that "nobody can touch it yet." We were walked once, very fast, through the corn maze by the woman who walked too fast for the young children to keep up, but kept yelling at them to stay close and not get lost or she would leave them there to get eaten by monsters. (sounds funny but she said it in a very cruel way that made two children cry).
We were then left to our own devices halfway across the farm with no directions on how to get back, and it was getting dark. The man and woman left on the tractor without a goodbye or any directions whatsoever.
The children were given ONE apple and a half-bug-eaten piece of popping corn, after being told the crops had been devastated by frost and they weren't allowed to pick anything. This was odd as the trees we saw were hanging low with fruit and we had been told on the tour they would get popping corn, a pumpkin and be allowed to pick apples.
Overall a disappointing tour, and very scary to find people obviously known by the staff doing drugs on the property, in plain sight, and to be left in the middle of a farm at dusk with no clue how to get back to our cars.

Our entire family looks forward to going to Brantwood Farms every year. For us, it has evolved into a treasured tradition. When our kids were younger they enjoyed touring the haunted barn, which is now "The Story Book Barn", poking their faces through the painted cut outs for a picture or having their faces painted, transforming them into someone new. Bouncing around a pumpkin obstacle course on a bouncy ball was a favorite, one that I secretly wish to do again some day. Pony rides!! A Hay wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick that perfect pumpkin is one of the highlights. As the kids have grown, picking fresh apples off the trees is something we all look forward to. Now in their teens, our kids like to see who can catapult an apple the most accurately and hit the straw target, or the farthest beyond the target. This is the year we are planning for the Night time Haunted Hayride. We love our Brantwood Farms Tradition. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
