Childhood Playground

Nice local downtown park a large piece of Brampton history. It's free and in the summer often has musical events and in the winter the park is turned into a skating rink.

My greatest sadness about moving out of Brampton is Gage Park. Any time of year there was always something to do here. The scenery is beautiful and the skating was a fond part of my childhood. I go back to walk Gage Park as often as possible.

It's a great place to hangout through out the year. They have a skating ring around the pathway in winter time and it's FREE! Good place to take your kids and the lights during Xmas season is very colourful!

The big trees make this a great place to just chill and enjoy the big trees that create a canvas over the entire park.

Free skate, the city floods the pathway around bandshell stand, lite up at night with zillions of twinkling lights. Very pretty & romantic ❤️

A lovely all season park with skating in the winter and a supervised splash pad in the summer. Lovely gardens in the warm weather and gorgeous Christmas lighting to add sparkle when it snows. The white gazebo where music groups often play adds to the all round pleasure of this lovely park that is worth a visit any time of... More

A well groomed and maintained municipal park offering public skating during the winter months and an excellent background for spring/summer use, such as musical presentations or wedding guest/reception photographs. Could easily replace the current farmer's market and avoid the traffic chaos created by using the main intersection of Main @ Queen streets. Some thing for the newly elected City Council... More

Gage Park is a beautifully maintained park in the downtown Brampton area. I especially love this park in the Winter. The city of Brampton ices all the paths and a wonderful skating circuit is created for everyone to enjoy. They have bathrooms and a food station that serves hot drinks and food. After 5pm there is free parking at City... More

Just looking at the summer and winter photos you can see that this is a special place. In the summer it is a beautiful old fashioned picnic park right in the centre of the city next to city hall. There is a great play area and wading pond for kids. Concert in the Park on Thursday evenings is a highlight with... More

I love Gage Park best in the winter, when they turn the path section around the park into a huge ice skating rink. The park is also beautiful in the fall, with all the changing leaves and colours. A highlight that Brampton has to offer.
