The best place in downtown Barrie for a leisurely scenic waterfront walk. If you are a visitor to the city don't miss this #1 attraction. There is a playground and sandy beach.

The JEWEL of Barrie. It's right on the waterfront, Lake Simcoe. Their is a beautiful park for the kids, sandy beaches, swimming, picnic tables, rest rooms and walking & biking paths around the lake. Like I said, BREATHTAKING!!!

Centennial Beach has the most exciting playground in town, right next to our gorgeous waterfront. A popular place for a picnic or swim with snack-shack, ice cream and great places to eat withing a stones throw, this is a gem in the heart of the city. Don't forget to check the community calendar, as there are MANY festivals held here... More

This is one of the real attractions of Barrie to residents and visitors alike. Our beautiful waterfront !!! Barrie is the perfectly situated in the 400 corridor with TO close to the south, good skiing in Collingwood to the west and fantastic Muskoka to the north. Depending on the season you can go east (Lake Simcoe). Well worth the drive... More

Very impressed with the beach, the cleanliness of the park and the abundance of garbage and recycle containers to help keep it clean.

I come here at least once a week to walk the waterfront in Barrie with my girl friend. Most people dont know how lucky they are to have this great waterfront area. It is great for walks, biking, rollerblading, and skateboarding. In the summer time it is also great for swimming and people watching.

Bathrooms, secure family setting, food available. Good supervised swim area. Clean beach area. Great playland with numerous adventures for kids and liked the base of equipment preventing injuries from falls
