Love it! Great to spend a day on the beach. Large playground, life-guarded beach, restrooms. Not sure why they don't have any restaurants directly on the water, though, there'd be plenty of space. Just two ice-cream shops. Parking is a big problem on busy days. There's plenty of tickets issued instead of resolving the problem. Shame on you, Barrie!

Beautiful well manicured and maintained park. Lovely beach and waterfront. Used the lakefront for kayak lessons by happy paddling. The water was warm. Clean washroom and lots of picnic tables.

Make sure you visit the park as it is well worth your time. Our weather was beautiful and warm so it made the attraction much more appealing and worthwhile. View from the park was lovely

This is a lovely park at Centennial Beach right in Barrie. Lots of great safe play equipment for the kids. Good size park with lots of room to walk, swim, and picnic with the family. There are proper washrooms there with flush toilets and running water which makes your visit much more comfortable.

The park is right by the waterfront, connected to the beach. The beach itself is nice and comfortable, though the sandline drops off pretty quickly in the water. The water was cold (and general temp outside was 28, so I'm not sure it gets much warmer), but it's easy to adjust quickly. The park has lots of things for bigger... More

This is a nice park, by centennial beach along kempenfelt bay. It's a good spot to take children. Always busy, but fun. Nearby is the beach. And several ice cream points as well.

My son's favorite place to play and my favorite place to stroll. It has beautiful view, very clean and updated. We are lucky to have such a luxury on a lakefront.

Centennial Park has been a favourite of mine for decades. Now we take our grand daughters. The play equipment is varied, different ages can play at many levels. The city tidies and cleans this park regularly. They rake and dig to really soften up the sand at the landing levels. The water and beach are right there. Whether you are... More

This is a rally nice park. The playground is great ...well designed and accessible. The park is beachfront and is often very busy on warm days. The whole area is clean and family friendly. The walking path that goes through the park follows the lakeshore for miles. If you are do not have a resident park pass you have to... More
