Very beautiful park, I took many nice pics of me and my mom and sister here. We enjoyed having our timmies by the lake and just enjoying the peacefulness while we were on our girls road trip!!! A must see

Barrie's Centennial Park is a beautiful place for an evening walk / morning jog, and of course a dip in the lake. Area between parking and Children's Park / Centennial Beach is currently under construction. Plan looks great. Looking forward to the "New" Barrie Centennial Park in 2016.

Whether you pack a picnic, or a snack. Plan to sit in the shade, or spend the day at the beach, Centennial park is in the heart of city, and has something for everyone! Take a stroll, and recharge down at centennial park!

A really nice waterfront park for kids and adults alike. The playground is great for kids of all ages, the beach is right there! There are restaurants and vendors within walking distance. Parking is free for residents with permits, but even without the parking costs are reasonable.

This park area has everything. A lifeguard swimming area, a kids playground, a small kids water park, a landmark water geyser, a Marina, lots of walkways and flowers. At least a mile long and close to shopping and restaurants too.

Went there yesterday in the heat. It was lovely. Sand, water were great. Lifeguards were there. One drawback was there was only one set of washrooms open . Should have been both. Wish there were change rooms there. Park near playground was very busy, but we were at the other end. Found parking and a spot on the beach for... More

Centennial park has it all! Great play structures, a great beach, a large fountain that you can cool off in when the wind is blowing right, public bathrooms, picnic tables, and a canteen to buy munchies. Its a great place to spend the day with the kids, and its close to downtown.
