Beautiful park! We camped at Blind Bay campground and enjoyed site 817- it was a bit of deeper lot with a more space from our neighbours. The back of the lot was completely private, as it backed out to some woods. The beaches we visited were very nice too. There were a lot of park staff around and the park... More

We just went to Killbear Provincial Park for the first time on the Canada Day long weekend and had a blast. Our site # 1129 was located in the Lighthouse Point Campground Area. Upon arrival we could see that there was no privacy at all. Due to the diseased trees that have been cut down. It leaves you out in... More

We have been coming up to Killbear every year since 2008 and absolutely fell in love with the park. There are countless experiences to be had here and the park is beautiful no question. I recommend this park to everyone who has a sense of adventure and wants to be at peace surrounded by nature. Tip - Be sure to... More

Despite the hysterics of another reviewer, I stayed at Kilcoursie - yes, there were boats, about 3-4 clean-looking sailboats that bobbed around well out from the beach, and a couple of small motorboats. Only one motorboat was used during the 3 days I was there, and that for a well-behaved young family. I kind of liked the look of the... More

Killbear is beautiful, no question. I had heard that it would be next to impossible to get a site without a reservation but arriving on a Thursday, there were plenty. There was plenty of privacy, lots of beaches, some nice trails amd people were under control for the most part. I stayed in a radio free zone so aside from... More

Family thoroughly enjoyed our time @ killbear park. Beautiful beaches and things to do. It rained quite a bit while camping for a week so needless to say some laundry was needed. We used the laundry facilities within the campground, however we had to drive out of the park for some distance to get change as we could not get... More

I have camped at Killbear since the 1980's I was lucky enough to move from Toronto to Muskoka. Bears are part of living or visiting the north country. Unfortunately bears are attracted to campsites by the smell of food and garbage and by some campers not practicing good camping habits and keeping their campsites clean. To say will will not... More

I went camping for the weekend with my daughter and friends and we had a great time. There is something here for everyone from the beach, hiking, riding you bikes along the km's of trails, nature centre with lots of fun things to see and do for kids and adults and just chillin. I stayed in Kilcourise campground. I am... More

We have been to killbear every year for the past 10 years and we absolutely love it. We always stay in Harold's point. The views, everything, is great! We have had a couple encounters with bears....but you're in the middle of the wilderness. It's going to happen! Be smart and don't keep food etc in your tent/trailer and they won't... More

My husband and I just returned from a week of camping at Killbear Provincial Park. We haven't been there for quite a few years but we were happy to find the park is just as beautiful as ever. The facilities are well taken care of and kept clean. There are numerous faucets throughout the camping areas to get drinking water.... More
