Nipissing is the best lake I have ever seen for swimming because it is a shallow lake that warms up faster than most and features sandy beaches most free of rocks and in many areas you can walk out 100-200 or more years before the water gets over year head. With Trip Advisor reviews you have to take them with a grain of salt. Some are very good, some are very inaccurate. I don't know why this lake gets such a high review. It's a bed of water, not that exciting! There is not much to see, just open water.

With the Greater Toronto Area sprawling further and further in every direction, the famous vacation spots of yesterday are becoming increasingly urbanised and overrun.
