Had a Great Day - Worth the Expense!

Family went towards the end of August and I was a bit worried about getting our monies worth, given the high ticket price and stories of long lines. All five of us had a... read more

Well maintained park and lots of fun rides. The lazy river is awesomeness. There are plenty of picnic tables, so bring your lunch and snacks. Don't forget your sunscreen.

I have been wanted to go to this water park since it opened but never went. It was so awesome, I want to get a season's pass. I went with my husband, so its fun for adults too - not just families. Lines were long, but it was a gorgeous summer day - if you arrive after 2 p.m. they... More

We had an amazing visit this past summer. Some lines on the more popular attractions we quite lengthy but all in all a great day. On-site restaurants are very costly but there's lots and lots of tables you can picnic at. **WARNING, 2 debits to the credit card I used at the park arrived on my statement several months after... Dear Michael B. First of all, let us reassure you the charges to your credit card are not fraud. Yes, you may have noticed that a credit card purchase made at one of our food and beverage facilities in 2014 is only now appearing on your credit card statement. Allow us to explain. During the 2014 season, one of the... More

Well maintained park, good attractions for all ages, superb lazy river. Food is very expensive, so take your own. There are plenty of picnic tables.

Family went towards the end of August and I was a bit worried about getting our monies worth, given the high ticket price and stories of long lines. All five of us had a fantastic time with only a few slides with lines worth mentioning (~20 min max). Everyone had their own favorites and we managed to get a lot... More

I haven't been to a water park since I lived in Los Angeles and went to Raging Waters years ago. Calypso is a thousand times better. First of all, its extremely clean. You can walk anywhere barefoot and you feel confident. There are plenty of areas to relax, lay out in the sun, or have a picnic lunch on the... More

This water park is fantastic! My 11 & 8 year olds just love it! The water is warm, the wave pool is awesome and line ups are shorter than most other parks I've been to. Unfortunately they shorten their hours the last week of August which is the only bad thing about the park. Recommend children are strong swimmers if... More

This was our first trip to Calypso, we had a very active 15 month old in tow who loves water. We were pleasantly surprised to find the park at a medium level of busy (according to the staff we asked) on the Labor Day weekend. The amount of water features that were appropriate for our child was amazing. There were... More

I went on a cloudy day, and many restaurants were closed at the park. Not much to choose from. I thought you needed a full day to go through the whole park, but no need for whole day
