My family have been going here since it opened. The kids have as great a time as the adults. The kids range from 1 to 14 and there is fun for everyone. The park is clean and modern with great facilities. The only thing I would change are concession prices. I have found a trend in the US that seems... More

This is a very new water park with lots of attractions to suit all age groups. Clean well landscaped although still developing . Was easy to find. Not far from downtown Ottawa. Typical food available. Lockers available. A good all day attraction. More

I'd like to preface this with: MONT CASCADE MAY HAVE SMALLER SLIDES, BUT AT LEAST YOU DON'T WAIT 2 HOURS TO RIDE THEM. We, unfortunately, visited Calypso on an August Monday at 3pm. This was my second trip to the park. We waited 1/2hr in line to pay with no notice (warning) on wait times. We entered the park, bought... More

The only negatives about this place are the long lines and high prices. Other than that, it's an amazing day of fun and excitement. Hard to imagine someone not liking it unless they are afraid of heights. More

I'm not even going to go into a lengthy explanations but my son came out crying because staff yelled at him as he struggled to get out of the water. The young kids that work there were indifferent to kids safety. My recommendation if you are a family with kids between 7-11yrs old is go somewhere else that day. More

Last July, our first and last ride of the day was the Steamer ride. Everything went fairly OK until the tube my wife was riding in entered the last part of the ride backwards. At the same time, a gush of water flipped the tube, she hit her head severely and suffered a double fracture of the C2 neck bone.... More

Like other reviewers, I received a severe neck whiplash and injury to my shoulder after being thrown from the 2 man raft upon entering the final tunnel on Steamer. Our raft went up high on one side of the tunnel, which caused us to be thrown from the raft and hit our heads hard on the other side of the... More

I took my family back to Calypso Water Park in September 2011. This was our second visit having visited in August 2010. The park is much improved over its first year (2010). They have added new rides and have a wider variety of rides. We most appreciated that there were more "mellow" rides for the younger and less brave of... More
