I haven't been to a water park since I lived in Los Angeles and went to Raging Waters years ago. Calypso is a thousand times better. First of all, its extremely clean. You can walk anywhere barefoot and you feel confident. There are plenty of areas to relax, lay out in the sun, or have a picnic lunch on the... More

This water park is fantastic! My 11 & 8 year olds just love it! The water is warm, the wave pool is awesome and line ups are shorter than most other parks I've been to. Unfortunately they shorten their hours the last week of August which is the only bad thing about the park. Recommend children are strong swimmers if... More

This was our first trip to Calypso, we had a very active 15 month old in tow who loves water. We were pleasantly surprised to find the park at a medium level of busy (according to the staff we asked) on the Labor Day weekend. The amount of water features that were appropriate for our child was amazing. There were... More

I went on a cloudy day, and many restaurants were closed at the park. Not much to choose from. I thought you needed a full day to go through the whole park, but no need for whole day

We had a great day at the water park. The wait times were reasonable for the slides so I'm not sure if it was considered a slow time of the summer (last week of August) but even the longest line ups couldn't have been more than a 20 minute wait. We collectively loved the Kongo Expedition the best and went... More

If you enjoy huge waves and thrilling waterslides this place is for you. There is milder rides for the not so adventurous too. Great family adventure. Crowd was manageable, there was always a ride that didn't have a lineup..so we went there. Lots of lounge chairs and shaded picnic areas. They allow you to bring coolers etc. It lost a star... More

Went to Calypso last Sunday when the temperature reached 30! We bought our tickets and parking pass online and got there just as it opened at 10:00. There were no real crowds at that time, so the kids got to go on the slides quite a few times before the big line ups started. The place is very clean and... More

Nice heated water. Kids(ages 2 and 5) had a blast and there was lots for them to do. The five year old could go on quite a few of the adult slides accompanied by one of us. It seemed like every time we turned around there was a new slide that we hadn't tried. We weren't able to try everything... More

The park had two lazy rivers, a giant wave pool and many slides. It was very clean, parking convenient and easy to access. Also a lot cheaper than Wonderland. I love waterparks and this is the best one i have ever been to.

HEATED SALTWATER! 'Nuff said... Well, there are a few other things worth mentioning: *Kongo (i.e. lazy river) was amazing and exciting & fun! Bring your own food! Put your stuff on a picnic table and keep it all day! Quick lines and lots of different rides! Enormous kids area! Wild wave pool! It was a beautiful day and we had... More
