Sample the Brew

A bit over the top but fun and entertaining. The tour guides are knowledgeable and sing well. The sample at the end of the tour was great!

This tour was on the top of my list of things I wanted to do while in Halifax for the first time, and I was very disappointed. I went with my parents (who got a senior's rate) and it cost almost $80 for the 3 of us! The tour itself is WAY over the top. I actually found myself feeling... More

I loved this tour. My boyfriend was a Iittle less enthralled. It's has a lot of singing but the actors had unbridled enthusiasm. I believed we were in the 1800s. More information about the times that the beer was founded then the actual process. But if you want to learn about the process then Google it... this is about one... More

If you want a theatrical performance, this is the place for you. We thought it a bit cheesy and too expensive. You do get big mugs of beer at the end. Does not compare to Sam Adams tour we took in Boston. We got to keep the tasting glasses in Boston.

Interesting and entertaining - the singing so beautiful it will bring a tear to your eye. But not too worry - the pints included in the tour will make you smile again. Highly recommended

We stopped into this brewery on a rainy afternoon with minimal expectations, it was a fabulous tour, takes you back to the 1700-1800 ,s and reviews the history of the brewery, great fun staff, songs, laughter, free beer, well worth the trip

It is a great experience for all ages. The acting was excellent and so was the singing. Not to mention that it ends with a few glasses of cold beer for the adults!

Neat tour, several characters in costume guide you though the site and provide details of the life and work of Alexander Keith's. You wind up in the bar for a beer or two and some song and dance. A bit pricey but I don't regret going through.

We spent an afternoon at the brewery, so much fun. You get a little tour, a couple of mugs of ale and a lot of laughs. We went to their restaurant after as well and it was really good with reasonable prices.

My husband and I took the tour. It was lots of fun, loved the singing and the dancing. The young ladies in period costume knew the information and were charming. The movie was very informative and then of course - 2 pints of beer. Enjoy
