We love going to the Discovery Centre with our daughter and can spend hours there playing and exploring the different levels. They have inventive, fun, and informative exhibits for your children that are exciting for Mom & Dad too.

This is a great place to take young kids. There is plenty to entertain and educate (and burn energy!). We took our 4-year-old niece today and she loved it! (although to be fair, my 30-something husband seemed to enjoy it just as much :-) It could get a bit pricey to go regularly ($10 for adults, $7 for children) but... More

A great place to take bored kids! All the interactive exhibits can occupy children for hours. Bring money for the great gift shop!

It's much bigger than it looks from the outside, which impressed me. They have a lot of great standards and their travelling exhibit about the physics of skateboarding is good. Science really is everywhere!

We haven't been to the Discovery Center in 18 months, but not much has changed. The majority of the displays were the same ones we visited 18 months ago. The only new addition was the Tony Hawke exhibit. The new exhibit was very interesting, but the remainder of the centre has gotten a bit boring. In my opinion, once you've... More

Hello and thanks for your time to give us your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the new Tony Hawk exhibit. Based on the traditional set-up of a science centre, many of the exhibits are indeed permanent, but are those that children generally love to play with each time they come. For example, there's always something new to build... More

Basically its a science and technology museum. We are members there because of our 5 year old. Good place to spend 2-3 hours. There was a skate boarding exhibit which taught kids regarding the physics of skate boarding Total of 3 floors. Its smaller compared to the one in Ottawa. But still good and very interactive for kids. Hands on... More

Easily spend 3 hours there. This summer's first floor setup was sesame streets's discovery of the body, which was only so-so for my 5 and 7 year old. However, our old favourites, 2nd and 3 floors, were winners. From the bubble makers to the timed running track to bridge maker... and the grand finale, the 'great balls of fire' show,... More

Nice and fun family activities. Our 8 year old loved almost everything on the 2nd and 3rd floor as all activities were for his age group unlike the 1st floor which was all about Sesame street but still interesting for younger kids. There was also a science performance that lasted less than an hour which is fine for younger kids.

My 2 young boys really enjoyed the time we spent at the discovery centre! Some of their favourite things were the roller coaster building, the Lego building room, and they loved, loved, loved the Sesame Street exhibit. The fact that is was Sesame Street didn't bother my 7 year old who usually considers Sesame Street to be something for his... More
