My 2 young boys really enjoyed the time we spent at the discovery centre! Some of their favourite things were the roller coaster building, the Lego building room, and they loved, loved, loved the Sesame Street exhibit. The fact that is was Sesame Street didn't bother my 7 year old who usually considers Sesame Street to be something for his... More

We spent 2-3 hrs here. First floor had the Sesame Body interactive exhibition. Kids 4&6 enjoyed it. 2nd and 3rd floor was most enjoyable. We enjoyed the experiment that was on in the afternoon with liquid nitrogen. The handler was very funny and kids and adults enjoyed the big chill experiments. Parking garage is around the corner. Close to waterfront... More

The kids loved it and it wasn't even that busy, so no giant crowds to navigate around. I would say the only downfall was the main exhibit on the first floor had too much going on. the stations inside the exhibit that had sound, you could not even hear anything so it meant that the kids didn't want to stay... This place was great. Our group was made up of people aged 2, 4, 7, 8, 35,37,40 &66. From youngest to oldest, we really enjoyed it. We spent about 4 hours there and the kids didn't stop the whole time we were there. Only drawback was that there wasn't a restaurant there. You are, however, allowed to bring in your... More

I was really looking forward to this activity, but I must say it was a big disappointment! My 7 year old was grumpier than Oscar the grouch at the Sesame Street exhibition! We only stayed 45 mins, they need to add more exhibits to keep little ones entertained.

Thank you for your feedback; although we're sorry to hear that your visit was so disappointing. Our feedback consistently indicates there is plenty for children to do throughout the Centre. Perhaps you didn't get the chance to visit all three floors of activities or take in a film or demonstration while you were here. Hopefully your next visit will be... More

Recently went here with 6 kids (4 months, 4 y.o., 2 x 5 y.o., 10 y.o., 14y.o) and 3 adults while the dads went to tour the Alexander Keith's brewery. It was a great place (although a little too young for the 2 older ones, but they are both amazing with the younger ones, and were a great help )... More

I was pleasantly surprised when I took my 18 month granddaughter here that there was plenty to keep her interested and busy on a rainy afternoon. She loved the featured exhibit :Sesame Street presents the Body as well as the building centre.

Went with my 2 boys today, ages 2 and 4, and they loved it!! We could have stayed all day. For a small space, there are tons of activities! The activities and the "shows" are geared towards a younger crowd but children (and adults) will get a lot out of the exhibit. The only downside was the crowd as the... More
