We rushed through the market searching for the exit because it was unbearably hot and crowded inside. It was virtually impossible to look at or purchase anything due to the crowds. Lines were incredibly long for all food vendors. I'd recommend going back when it was less busy, but since it is only open Saturday morning I assume it is... more

We decided to check this out our visit to halifax based on the previous reviews. It is a kinda of a hippie place, but there are numerous vendors down to business selling their wares.. everything from fresh local meats to veggies to coffee to pastries to plants, this place has a little bit of everything. We made a point to be in Halifax on a Saturday morning to spend time at the Brewery Market. They had everything for home made cookies to jewelry! There was live music and local artists selling their crafts. Even plenty of clean restrooms. more

We love going to the "hippie market" there are always interesting people to look at, interesting things that they are selling and really yummy food. Try Mary's Bakery, the Cinammon buns are delicious. :) more
