If you are in Halifax when the market is open, it is definitely worth a visit. There is wonderful local produce, crafts and great food to eat. You can wander along the boardwalk to see the Harbour after or see the Pier 21 museum. It was very busy with friendly people and good smells and sights to see.

Terrific Farmers Market, with local produce, crafts, and prepared food. It gets very busy over the weekend. People are very friendly and the food wonderful!

This is just like any other average farmer's market. If you're here for a vacation to experience Nova Scotia, you won't find anything unique. Sure you can get homemade jams, crafts, produce - but it's not difference than any other farmer's market across North America.

We went to the Saturday Farmers Market on the waterfront and it was a lovely experience. There is great food to be had, local artisans, local wines and coffee, meats, baked goods and produce. It is such a wonderful place for locals to meet, support their communities and get healthy food. I would go back on my next trip to... More

We spent several hours at the Saturday morning Farmers Market which is right on the beautiful waterfront. Fantastic food, crafts, souvenirs, local produce, wine, jewellery,,, tons of wonderful local stuff! Loved it,, and wish I could visit such a place every weekend at home!

We had toured Halifax and wanted presents. Looked around and found some good things. Lots of arts and craft that seemed reasonably priced. It sells food: both farmers products and takeout but we didn't take advantage of that. Beer was not being sold that day.

This market is right off the cruise ships on pier 22. It has lots of shopping options. We purchased clothes for my grandsons and other nice items. It can get very crowded when the cruise ships dock. Great place for shopping.

We had a wonderful brekkie here at the coffee shop/eaterie on the left end of the market (when you walk in from the street).

We've heard so many great things about this market so decided to try it out. The place was jammed full, a cruise ship was docked just outside and it was such a great sight to see. The market is great, lots of stalls and shops, produce is fresh and local which is great. You might pay more than if ou... More
