Great way to spend a few hours of the evening or afternoon in the winter. In the heart of Downtown, you can go skating for free! Don't have your own skates, don't worry. There a free skates to rent, as well as helmets, and aids for those who aren't strong skaters. They also offer free snowshoe rentals, which I have... More

We came down to watch the young and young eat heart skate on the oval. What fun to see and the facilities are very nicely laid out. Everything you need is here. Just come down and enjoy even if like us you do not skate. It is a great experience and well worth the time. Great addition to our Fair... More

This has been such a pleasant addition to our small city. It's always great to get outside and enjoy ice skating, and even more so with so many happy people enjoying, laughing, and being in community. There is a new building with washrooms, skate rentals (free) and warming areas.

A very good well kept skating rink, best to go if you are an adult ,when school is in and avoid on the weekend ,there are a lot of fast young skaters that are running over the beginners and older folks, all in all a great venue, and if you time it right you will keep coming back.

My partner and I had some time to spare before heading to the airport so we decided to go for a quick skate at the Oval! To our surprise it was free! The oval wasn't overly busy when we were there which was perfect since it has been a few years since I have been on skates and was slow... More

We make it a point to go a few times every year. Always fun and great way to get some fresh air. Be careful on the cold windy days, not much shelter when skating around

Enjoy skating in this place for free. It was my first time to skate and smashed my nose here so be careful and use the best skate shoes and before it watch a skate tutoring video ;)

The "oval" as it's known by locals is a winter family fun spot! With free equipment "rentals", great staff watching over everyone and a super organized system to get folks on and off the ice for the times slotted for each activity, it's just a wonderful experience. Parking is best on street nearby, giving you a short walk to the... More
