(We are the only ghost walk in Halifax which visits a cemetery.)...... more » Owner description: Entertaining and informative Ghost Walks through Halifax's historic downtown area. (We are the only ghost walk in Halifax which visits a cemetery.) Conducted by experienced tour guide, Andy Smith, who also happens to be a professional actor (an ACTRA member). We typically meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Town Clock (along Brunswick Street and halfway up Citadel Hill). Wednesday through Sunday evenings (May through October). Weather permitting: no rain or snow. Duration: Two hours. $10 per person. Children under 13 are half price. And discounts are available to groups of ten or more people. Exclusive tours are also available at mutually convenient days and times. « less

The night I went was perfect: foggy and a little gloomy. There were eager youngsters with skeptical parents, some seniors and a couple of giggling teenagers. Andy made us all feel welcome and got everyone to pay attention; he is very funny and well versed on the history and the stories. An entertaining and fun evening; I'd go again. More

Andy provided a learned overview of the history of Halifax while guiding us on a tour of the city's most legendary and haunted sites. Very nicely paced, and understanding of some folks' special needs. As the leader of ghost tours myself, I was impressed. More
