An entertaining and informative Ghost Walk through Halifax's historic downtown area. (The ONLY Ghost Walk in Halifax which visits a cemetery!) Andy Smith, an experienced tour guide who conducts these tours, also happens to be a professional actor (ACTRA member). Andy also operates the local tour company, Tattle Tours (a separate Trip Advisor listing) which gives lively walking tours and step-on guided tours. Andy's fun Ghost Walk is typically offered Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings, starting at 7:30 p.m. (May through October) weather permitting. Duration: Two hours. $15.00 per person. Children under 13 are half price. Discounts are available to groups of ten or more people. Groups can also arrange a private tour on other mutually convenient days and times.

Andy Smith who does the tours is fabulous. An actor by profession, Andy brings his wealth of theatre skills to his 2 hour walking tours. He is funny, informed and utterly entertaining. He brings Halifax's ghostly history alive causing a few goosebumps to rise along the way. My wife and I loved his presentation and highly recommend it to anyone.

The tour guide, Andy, is very knowledgeable on the history of Halifax. He engages the audience and openly states that he is a story teller. He has personal experiences to share along the way of odd happenings, and offers anyone who experiences anything out of the ordinary the opportunity to share. He has a very good sense of humor and... Had the pleasure of taking Andy's tour a few days ago with my family. We saw more hidden gems and learned more about Halifax than I expected. The ghost stories were artfully woven into the tour and history lessons. We've done similar tours in other cities and Andy's was one of the best. Don't miss this!

My husband and I recently went on this tour with Andy and had a fantastic time. Andy really knows the local hauntings well and tells their stories enthusiastically. From the Five Fisherman restaurant to the Face in the Glass, go on this tour if you want a spooky good time. I'd recommend it to everyone who visits Halifax

This tour was a lot of fun! Not only was it filled with chilling tales, there was also a lot of interesting historical facts about the city as well. It was a beautiful walk through historic neighborhoods and listening to Andy spin his tales of haunted Halifax is the perfect way to spend an evening in the city.

This well worth the trip and Andy Smith is funny and informative. He really knows his stuff and is very good with large crowds and does keep your interest. Even if some of the stories are a little embellished it is a great way to start an evening on the Town.

And I had a wonderful time with your group and sharing some of Halifax's colourful, darker tales and rich history. It's always satisfying when people also share their likes, their fears and concerns. Thanks for coming! More

Had a great time - our guide's a great story-teller, with TONS of info about Halifax. Great at answering questions. The tour is a little less 'ghosty' and a little more 'odd and interesting stories' - which was great for us! He adapted the tour to the interests of the group - always engaging. Thanks! Well worth doing, especially if... More
