Description: An entertaining and informative Ghost Walk through Halifax's historic...
An entertaining and informative Ghost Walk through Halifax's historic downtown area. (The ONLY Ghost Walk in Halifax which visits a cemetery!) Andy Smith, an experienced tour guide who conducts these tours, also happens to be a professional actor (ACTRA member). Andy also operates the local tour company, Tattle Tours (a separate Trip Advisor listing) which gives lively walking tours and step-on guided tours. Andy's fun Ghost Walk is typically offered Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings, starting at 7:30 p.m. (May through October) weather permitting. Duration: Two hours. $15.00 per person. Children under 13 are half price. Discounts are available to groups of ten or more people. Groups can also arrange a private tour on other mutually convenient days and times.

An interesting evening walk around the old town with just enough credence in the tales to suggest more fact than fiction. Andy Smith held the audience's attention with his story telling style. There must have been close on 30 on the tour but it was easy enough to hear the stories and not lose any of the atmosphere. Being new... More

Out of the numerous tours available Halifax this has been by far my favourite. Andy is an incredibly knowledgeable guide, a great story teller and a wonderful entertainer. This tour is worth every penny. The tour is done at the prefect pace to explore beautiful downtown Halifax and visits a handful of historic sites with in the two hours. Despite... More

We went on this tour based on positive reviews, but were very disappointed. There were about 50-60 people on the tour and the tour guide was difficult to understand if you were not standing close to him. The noise of the traffic contributed to this difficulty. He would not wait for everyone to be at a destination before starting to... More

Wonderful meander down the hill from the clock tower the the Brewery. Andy Smith does a great job introducing his adopted city to visitors young and old. A bit of history, a bit of comedy, a lot of fun. Glad we had the chance to do this tour.

Andy Smith who does the tours is fabulous. An actor by profession, Andy brings his wealth of theatre skills to his 2 hour walking tours. He is funny, informed and utterly entertaining. He brings Halifax's ghostly history alive causing a few goosebumps to rise along the way. My wife and I loved his presentation and highly recommend it to anyone.

The tour guide, Andy, is very knowledgeable on the history of Halifax. He engages the audience and openly states that he is a story teller. He has personal experiences to share along the way of odd happenings, and offers anyone who experiences anything out of the ordinary the opportunity to share. He has a very good sense of humor and...
