We visited here and it was still a little cold but a worthwhile adventure. This beautiful park suffered due to the hurricane years ago but is surging back. The scenery is beautiful and combines forest and Oceanside walking. The Martello tower and bunkers are closed to public for internal access but they are still magnificent examples of our military history

Love this park! It's gem in the heart of the city. Great trails for running. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there are no water fountains or water pumps. Nice to have when you're on a run. But otherwise I highly recommend.

We decided to visit the park while we waiting for an appointment. It has been years since we were here. That's a shame. It is still a beatiful place to walk and take pics. For industrial photos you have the container peer and a panorama of the Dartmouth side. For nature you obviously have the park with trees, beech and... More

This is by far our favourite walking park in Halifax! There are so many trails to explore and beautiful lookoffs along the paths. I have enjoyed running and walking in Point Pleasant Park and I can't wait to take my daughter for stroller rides along the trails once the weather gets better. Sometimes, in the summer months, we will grab... More

There are walking, running trails . When you walk to the point you will see islands, ships coming and going, sailing vessels and the North West Arm. There is a restaurant. Also, some old gun batteries are in the middle of the park. It is worth visiting.

A great place to walk, run or cross country ski. There is also a good view of the harbour entrance and some history with a Martello tower and other fortifications and the sailors memorial. The anchor from the Bounty is also on display. Dog on/off leash friendly.

If you have just had a baby, and need some fresh air, chuck that little baby in the car seat and take a ride down to Point Pleasant Park. The trail along the oceanfront is a lovely, windy, refreshing walk: flat and safe. Great way to shake off the baby blues!

Trails are nice and wide, with lots of directions to choose from. Lots of ups and downs in the wheelchair, but quite pleasant, well named. Next time we will just drive to the large parking area to the north and enjoy the ocean view from there.
