You can spend one full day there.

If you like walking and enjoying nature, you can enjoy every minute of your promenade in this great park. It is well looked after. If I go to Halifax again, I won't miss this park.

A great seaside walk not far from downtown Halifax. The street leading to the park has some enormous houses and beautiful architecture that makes this city so appealing. Not only that but the park is free which you don't often get back in the United States.

Do not miss Shakespeare by the Sea in this park. If I need to write it out again for I will. Excellent experience in a unique place. The fog over the battery, the excellent acting. GO GO GO Even our non Shakespeare folks and kids and teens liked it

Halifax is a fantastic city for those who love green spaces. Point Pleasant Park is a beautiful maze of paths that take you past various historic monuments, leading to lovely views of the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there relaxing.

I love to walk through Point Pleasant Park with my dog. It's a nice green space right in the city. The location is great and there are a variety of trails to walk on.

PPP is one of the nicest spots in Halifax to walk. The old Forts and Trees make for a very nice private walk. The trails intertwine everywhere.

Visited the park with guests from U.K. and showed them the Sailors Memorial and the Bonaventure's Anchor memorial. Plus a walk to show them the North West Arm and the Bandstand . Also told them how the heather came to be in the park - from the bedrolls of the highland regiments who were camped out here in the very... More

Spent almost two weeks visiting Nova Scotia. Once lived there briefly when I was a kid about 40 years ago and my wife and daughter had never been to Nova Scotia. This park was smaller but nicer than I remember. Same interesting war bunkers to climb over which is something pretty rare for us to see. One odd thing though... More
