There is such a fabulous variety of skilled craftsmen in Cape Breton and most of them are represented in this wonderfully laid out space, lots of atmosphere, great display areas and a wonderful staff. You can find a special piece of jewellry, a great piece of pottery, hand carved wooden items, knit wear, paintings by local artists, you name it,... More

This gallery/shop was build to promote local crafts and it does a splendid job of showing a selection. As a tourist it makes an excellent place to pick up an upmarket souvenir. Unusually, and most welcome, they play (reasonably) modern jazz, streamed from Pittsburgh Jazz Channel, WYZR - fm.

This is a treasure trove of local art. The prints, paintings, jewelry, and sculpture change regularly. It is great to have so many artists with their pieces on display. If you are not into shopping perhaps their classes or seminars would interest you more. Their schedule is posted on their website, or you can call for information on any upcoming... More

Cape Breton has a deep tradition of producing art and crafts. This shop displays and sells a wide array of products including jewelry, paintings, photography, quilts, ceramics, glass, scarves, woven products, wood bowls and cheese boards and more. It's well worth a visit and a pleasure to support local artisans. There's another craft shop nearby (also on Charlotte Street) called... More

Dropped in here as it is easy to find located on the main street (Charlotte) in Sydney. It has a nice selection of items made by local crafts people in Cape Breton. Beautiful pottery, jewellery and quilts. If you like artisans then you'll enjoy a quick visit here.

If you are down town Sydney be sure to pop into the centre. Not only does it have beautiful local art to view and appreciate, but they have a great selection of items for sale. I often buy earrings and other jewelry there for friends and myself. I love supporting local artists and this is a great venue to do... More

My wife and I were expecting a place where we could purchase local crafts, but the selection was very small. We could not fine anything to buy!
