This is lovely little lighthouse in a pretty town. I wish we had more time to visit the lighthouse and area.

It is really wired that a spontaneous kiss will happen in front of the lighthouse... There is nothing special about this lighthouse, I guess a combination of environmental and natural elements make it special... Especially for a kiss and a peaceful moment. (For history lovers, the site has historic significance, too)

Other lighthouses are often off the beaten path and require hiking or driving on washboard roads. This one is right on the main drag stashed between Fort Anne and a pretty good cafe. (Although I am pretty sure that they weren't planning the cafe part of that location. It is small (about 20 feet tall) amd well kept in a... More

This is a wee little lighthouse, but it's close to the town's promenade. We enjoyed a walk there, and sat on benches and looked out on the water. It's a very pretty view and calming place to be.

We highly recommend this walking tour of by Alan Melanson and his delightful "Texacadian" wife, Durline. They are knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides with a genuine interest in sharing the history of the Acadians with visitors to the region. Their story at the end of the tour is a gem!

I wholeheartedly recommend taking part in the Acadian Candlelight tour - whether you are interested in Acadian history, eager to learn more about how the early European settlers lived in North America or just want to dive into the Acadian culture (cuisine and dance), this is the tour in Annapolis Royal! The exceptional hosts Durline and Allan give the tour... More

The view from up here is spectacular, but the lighthouse itself isn't really anything to see. Take a walk around and see the water and all the lovely old homes from here.
