Beautifully designed gardens, ponds and art installations. Nice views and a boardwalk over the water. Very relaxing.

Each section of the garden represents a different century in the town's history. It is gorgeous - an unexpected little oasis in the middle of town. There was a special "Ghost Town" night this year for the Halloween season where you were "guided" by scary characters through the gardens to see witches, dead singers performing, and such. Really fun! Highly... More

My Canadian relatives thought we'd find this garden fairly ordinary, giving the number and quality of gardens in England, but they couldn't have been more wrong. It's a delightful place, with imaginative planting and design, interesting methods of cultivation and truly impressive maintenance. Well worth a visit. I could have spent even more hours there than I did!

Beautifully kept, well marked and thoughtful plantings and trees, interesting vegetable garden with a touch of the unusual; good store/visitor's center with engaging people. A combination of interesting and restful that was easy to take.

So happy we took time to go to the garden. It was really beautiful. It was peaceful and so serene. The exhibit of the Acadian settlers was an interesting surprise and so beautifully presented.

I truly did. Of course, if helped that we had fantastic weather to enjoy the various gardens and scenic views of the Allain River. It was a true joy to stroll through the site which is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and a pleasure to chat to. The trees are magnificent and although... More

It was so nice to stroll through the various gardens. Each one had its own beauty. We stopped several times to talk the staff that were working in the gardens. The went out of their way to tell us things about various plants that we were trying to learn more. I would recommend this place for any one who likes... More

We have visited the gardens over several years. It is always an enjoyable experience. The gardens are very well maintained by volunteers and professionals. There are different areas to explore containing annuals, vegetables or roses. The roses were a little past their best when we visited but were still lovely. The area with the canna lilies, castor oil plants and... More

Loved the veggie garden and all the flowers, ponds etc in the rest. Been lots of times, just love it! Depending on the time of year - the roses are great, the trees and grasses are super, and the flowers are fab. Love it!!
