Stopped in to fill a few hours of open itinerary...pleasantly surprised. Garden was in full bloom and very impressive. As a photographer it was quite a visual and content rich feast. Plenty of benches in both sun and shade overlooking the gardens if you're into just relaxing and enjoying nature.

The gardens are nicely laid out and well-maintained. They are very attractive. My wife and I are both into landscaping with natives so were somewhat disappointed with the lack of native flora. However most people wouldn't notice that. We enjoyed the trail that goes through the tidal marsh.

This is a lovely home, spacious, beautifully furnished home. They just have two rooms. Stay here if you possibly can.

We go every year. See something different each time. LOVE IT! I like the vegetable garden part. I learn something new each time that I can take back and try on my own garden

As always---beautiful surroundings---and a bonus watching the artists, painting on site. We love to see the different flowers bloom as the summer unfolds.

We were there in August and many of the plants were not in bloom. The gardens were not as colorful as we had expected.

We were hoping for so much more after visiting Halifax Public garden. They appeared to be having some problems with roses and few other plants. Must say the labeling was great in most areas, but some really interesting areas had no labeling - particularly in the Victorian Garden.

We were there at a perfect time in Aug. Everything in full glory! Nice Acadian cottage with the family names of those who lived in Annapolis Royal before the expulsion.

There isn't anything about this place that is not to like. The weather was absolutely fantastic the day we walked through these amazing gardens. The staff were helpful and the gardens were one of the best I've ever had the privilege of walking through. Definitely worth the time to "stop and smell the roses".
