Worth a visit. Not cheap. Perhaps maybe during the warmer months, altho' it wasn't too bad when we visited it. Some of the summer blooms were still visible.

The gardens are divided into separate areas, which show different styles of gardening across time. We were late in the year but it was still interesting and the victorian gardening was fabulouis.

When we woke up to fog we were a little worried about visiting these beautiful gardens. As well as enjoying the flowers we like to take loads of photographs. However, the fog soon lifted and we managed to achieve what we wanted. It is a shame that all the flowers can't be out at the same time for all the... More

This garden would be better with more plants in bloom, which means visit in July or August, not mid-September. The garden is nicely laid out with a brochure that numbers the gardens and shows you the way. It would be nicer if more plants were labeled. Most were not.

This is a beautiful way to spend an afternoon - the paths are easy to get around, the garden displays are beautiful, and the maps and signage are excellent. I really enjoyed the "dyke walk" and all the historical information it contained. We were there on Sept. 24 and there was still lots of bloom! The rose garden is amazing.
