It might be a little off the main road but you can be back on the 101 highway in about ten minutes. High on the hill overlookng the Minas Basin is the best place for lunch in many a mile. Outside dining right in the vineyard where the food and drink is superb.

Quite a bit off the beaten track, so I recommend you go with one of the tours that visit. Nice food, wine of course. Great views, nice shaded minimalist patio. The food offerings are good, but a little light, expect to leave hungry but happy. Hard to feel closer to being in the centre of a vineyard, you can almost... More

We stopped here for lunch in August and had a most enjoyable afternoon. We were seated outside by Mr. Luckett himself, and had a wonderful view all the way down to the water. The lunch selection was good as was the food. The wine was great. They have a shop to buy all kinds of goodies as well as, of... More

Great view while enjoying wonderful food and wine. It was a beautiful sunny day ...loved spending it on the deck.

We enjoyed lunch at the Vineyard. Lunch is served in open air tents. We didn't realize until we left that there were blankets available at the entrance. I'd definitely recommend the blankets as it can get chilly. We enjoyed our food, and loved the view looking over the vineyard. And I made my free phone calls from the booth. I'd... More

This is a nice winery but what makes it unique is the great view from the vineyard. There is a working telephone in an old English phone booth in the field - you can make free calls to anywhere in Canada! The building for the wine tasting itself is attractive and modern and there is a large display of wine... More

Thank you for your review. We think our property is pretty special, it's hard to top that view! Next time you're here ask to see our Barrel Cellar room, that is where all of our oak barrels are stored (it also doubles as a beautiful private function room). Hope to have you back again! More

I really enjoyed the magic wine bus tour this summer, but really felt sick to see the use of plastic glasses at Luckett's vineyard. All of the other vineyards used proper glass for their tastings. Environmentally speaking, all that plastic waste really concerns me and it was a sharp contrast to the beautiful L'Acadie Vineyard that is organic and plastic... More

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that our plastic glasses used for the complementary welcome wine detracted your experience with us. Unfortunately last year we had in excess of 400 wine glasses misplaced while they were being used to greet large bus groups with their welcome wine, and with that type of continued loss we... More

Just an hour outside of Halifax in the middle of Nova Scotia wine country is Luckett Vineyards and Bistro. Absolutely worth the drive. The food is fabulous and the setting spectacular. Pete Luckett runs a charming show!

The girls and I decided to head up to Wolfville and do the "Magic Winery Bus" tour, which takes you around to 4 different vineyards in Wolfville, allowing you about an hour at each (maybe more time, depending on which time you depart.) Luckett was the second winery we got to, and we were all absolutely amazed. I was always... More

But...Let me start with the vinery itself. After driving up the beat-up road you're treated to a beautiful location to enjoy the wonderful view of the Annapolis Valley. If the weather cooperates, spend some time walking around and enjoying the surroundings. The winery has a fabulous restaurant and if you're lucky you get a table over looking the rows of... More

Thank you for your review! We have been lobbying for years to have that road fixed (without success so far), keep your fingers crossed for us! As you mentioned our winery is extremely busy on the weekends, which is something we are very proud of, however, it can get overwhelming for people who are looking for something a little quieter....
