We have been here a couple of times but by accident were here again just a few days ago. It doesn't open until May however we still got to see the water and smell the ocean air. We went to see the memorial of the crash as well and were the only visitors. Love Peggy's Cove and will be here... More

We did a day trip out to Peggy's Cove in March 2014, from Halifax. Very nice place, incredibly scenic; you will truly appreciate the power of the ocean when you stand on the rocks near the lighthouse & watch the waves crashing in. That being said, be careful! If you ever slipped near the water, it would be game over,... More

Very nice scenery. Tricky walking/jumping from one rock onto another. Be careful of the black rocks down by the water as they are very slippery. Definitely a tourist haven. Souvenirs were reasonable priced.

We thought we were too late to make it to the lighthouse as the light was fading fast and we still had a little while to drive. It turned out to be the best timing. As my husband was running from the parking lot towards the lighthouse to take pictures quickly, I trailed behind him with a professional photographer (... More

We went in March. I just loved going there. Such a beautiful little village. Very peaceful and quiet during that time of the year. Barely any totally. The lighthouse is beautiful. Worth the detour!!!

We visited on a blustery winter day and opted not to walk around on the rocks. The view was gorgeous. We also visited the nearby village and saw the painstakingly-carved rock mural. The random stacks of lobster traps were a nice touch.

What an amazing attraction for visitors there for the first time or your 20th time, it simply repesents what Atlantic Canada is all about. Natural beauty and you walk away from it amazed. You have to see this magnificent cove, the Lighthouse, and the little fishing village. Breathtaking.

Had a trip here from Halifax from a cruise ship. This is a must see place if you are visiting Nova Scotia. So many places do not always come up to expectation, but Peggy's Cove was truely a wonderful place. As we were visiting in October, there were not too many people around. The rock carvings are amazing. It was... More

I have gone to Peggy's cove every year since I was small. It still amazes me that glaciers moved those rocks and made the land bare. It is a beautiful ,awe inspiring sight,
