We had been here before but it's one of those places that pull you back. We only had 3 hrs before we had to go to the airport, so it was one hour there one hour stay one hour back. It was well worth it the views are spectacular. I would recommend you spend a lot longer than we did.... More

This is the most photographed lighthouse in Canada. A very nice lighthouse on a spectacular coastline. But there is not much more to see in Peggy's Cove.

My wife and I visited Peggy's Cove Village and Lighthouse this last weekend. Very impressed. Stayed 2 hours and could have spent the day there. I am sure that I will return. The restaurant's food was simple but very acceptable. We should have purchased a painting. We had to buy one at the airport at a higher price just before... More

We came to Halifax on a cruise and decided to go to Peggy's Cove. It was a great trip. Peggy's Cove is a beautiful place and our guide from Beechville Taxi was very helpful in pointing out the attractions and things we shouldn't miss. He took us by a different route on the way there and back and we took... More

Arrive just before sunset and watch the crowds disappear. This will leave you time to take pictures of your party alone against the lighthouse or amidst the rocks plus take incredible sunset photos. The small village en route to the lighthouse is very picturesque.

Peggy's Cove is an enchanting little fishing village on the rocky East Coast of Novia Scotia. The Peggy’s Point Lighthouse, which is perched high atop wave washed boulders is probably the most photographed in the world. This is a photographer's dream. Everywhere you turn your head, you're greeted with beauty and quaint charm. Fishnets and lobster traps decorate the wharves.... More

Be prepared to be "blown" away by both the winds and the views from the lighthouse. The rocky landscape around the lighthouse is truly a wonder to behold. Very smooth and grand! The waves crashing along the shore will offer you ample opportunities to get a great picture. Take your time to explore the area, so picturesque!

Its a lighthouse, thats it. If you havnt seen a lighthouse or the sea then you have to visit it. The adjacent restaurant captures the trade, originally a dwelling many years ago the owner turned it into what it is now because they believed what it could earn and they werent wrong. Its an ideal tranquil setting and advised to... More

We have been to Peggy's cove many many times and it never looses its appeal. We have been here on hot August evenings and in February snow storms. Each time we see a different facet. Walking across the rocks to the lighthouse or just sitting watching the ocean. The restaurant and gift shop are open all year round if you... More
