Our half day City Tour of Yellowknife with Beck's Kennels ended with a call at this visitors centre. We were welcomed by the staff and each given a free Yellowknife souvenir pin badge - a nice touch. The centre houses a decent small museum and a good shop selling souvenirs and artwork produced largely by First Nations artists. The staff... More

Sometimes when visiting new places you go to the visitors centre and don't even know what to ask. Luckily we were steered in the right direction by Tyler. He was friendly and gave us an abundance of ideas on what to do, where to do it and especially where to eat. We felt very welcome to pop back in anytime... More

I read about this place and was asked by the hotel management to visit it. It is a 3- or 4-storeyed shop and boutique museum for tourists to under the NWT during a quick visit. It serves that purpose really well with a dedicated and friendly staff who are more than happy to share knowledge with visitors. The collection of... More

We arrived in Yellowknife for our 4 night stay with one objective - to see the Northern Lights. The sky's did not disappoint!
