Well worth the visit for the very interesting way the building was built to showcase the natural bedrock as part of the experience, as well as for the displays, audio-visuals, and the gift shop. I am from Newfoundland but each year I go home and there are always new attractions! The Johnson GEO centre is great for all ages!! There are great displays, movies and a lot of hands-on displays! Well woth the time! more

Since my husband is a keen amateur geologist, we really looked forward to visiting the Johnson Geo Centre. We discovered a science centre which was in its first year of operation, and it showed.
