...and maybe a book about birds, whales and other sea life, if you interested those things. True to its name, our tour focused on an iceberg just off Cape Spear, but I think we all left the tour feeling a little underwhelmed (and very nauseous). The crew were all pleasant enough. But the company's website, pamphlets, and tickets have amazing... More

I highly recommend Iceberg Quest to anyone looking for a Newfoundland whale watching experience. The friendly crew members met us on the dock and made us feel welcome. Once on the boat our hosts made us feel at ease and created a festive atmosphere aided in part by the live band. Motoring out of the harbour on a clear day... More

Capt. Barry Rogers and his crew are superb tour operators with intimate knowledge of the harbour,Freshwater Bay, Cape Spear,Quidi Vidi and all attractions in the area. The access to the sea birds, whales et al is second to none. the crew is sens[tive to the wildlife and offers great insight into the habitat and activities. More

We saw humpback whales, dolphins which seamed to be playing with the boat and swimming under and suddenly appearing in the air as if they were putting on... More

My family, including two small children, thoroughly enjoyed our Iceberg Quest tour! It was an experience of a lifetime and one we will never forget. We got to see whales and dolphins in all their natural beauty and got some beautiful pictures as they were so close. I would definately recommend this trip to anyone going to St. John's! More

Friendly service and beautiful scenery. We saw dozens of whales and lots of birds. The whales came so close we could almost touch them. I also felt very safe. The boat was nice and well maintained. The crew was also very knowledgable. More

Well we were 2 couples that visited beautiful Newfoundland.....The boat was large enough for ocean going. We had no trouble boarding and the boat was not overloaded. The Captain and crew were very hospitable. A tour of the harbour then out to the ocean. We saw 3 humpback whales and followed them for a time. The Captain would constantly yell... More
