Last summer we had a wonderful trip to the East coast of Newfoundland. Our plan was to see whales. In Twillinggate, we met Carol Anne from Iceberg Quest. She was so helpful and friendly and organised the whale whatching tour for us. Unfortunately, this day we were not lucky. There were no whales in Twillingate. Carol-Anne recommended to drive to... The boat trip from St John's harbour was excellent. The staff on the boat were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This is a a great way to see the shoreline and some sea birds. If you are lucky you will also see icebergs and whales.

Good equipment; friendly, knowledgeable crew. Weather was decent and the tour included informative tour of the harbour, then over to Cape Spear. The tour went out of its way, ignoring time delays, to find and observe whales over at Quidi Vidi. Very enjoyable. Recommend to visitors.

the Iceberg season hasn't started but we decided to sightsee anyway. St John's Harbour and narrows as well as cape spear are well worth the trip. We lucked out and saw 2 hupback whales and had a wonderful time. this tour company is great! friendly people who really know how to please.

My friend and I were visiting St. John's for a work conference, and decided to do this boat tour while we were there. What a great decision! The staff were great - friendly, knowledgeable, and funny! The tour was supposed to be two hours, but they had no problem staying out on the water a bit longer so we could... More

We went early in the season and were told before leaving it would be unlikely to see any whales because it was early in the season. It was an uncharacteristically warm day and we decided it would be enjoyable none the less. Trip went well the crew brought out blankets for my 2 year old when the wind got chilly... More

Despite a cold foggy day, our cruise was excellent. What made it so was the friendly, personable, knowledge crew. They made what could have been a disappointing trip memorable because of their focus on helping us find every accessible sight, and providing historical information and local lore. I will cruise with them each time we come back.

Let me first start by saying I was very very nervous to do this. I don't swim at all and am very uncomfortable on boats. My friend talked me into getting tickets during a moment of feeling very brave, and then I thought "What have I done? Now I have to get on that boat.." So the time came to... More

We were entertained while we waited to board. It was a great day to be out on the water ... warm and sunny. There were spectacular views as we headed out of the harbour. We had a lot of humpback whale sightings and they flipped their tales at us. It was an awesome sight! Our captain was always on the... More
