What a wonderful piece of history-immense -well maintained and located near all hotels and shops --a must to visit.

This church is a must see for all visitors to St. John's. My husband and I were married there. Difficult to describe. Just show up and sit for a while, walk around or come for mass.

I enjoyed the post Christmas hymns and message of the homily. The children, who performed the readings were impressive because of their eloquence and diction. I've heard adults do a bumbling job of the same material.

Only got to see from the outside......our loss I'm sure. If I come back will try to see inside. Magnificent.

Basilica was gorgeous, we wandered around guide-free for about an hour and loved it. A gentleman who was cleaning stopped and chatted for a bit and offered some information and then suggested we pop next door to see the Veiled Virgin. And that was the best treat of all. This church is beautiful and is a prominent feature in downtown St. John's. I make sure to go to this church on Christmas Eve because it's my favourite.

Very well located. Easy to access and so beautiful inside. We did have a tour guide however who's knowledge of the Basilica was excellent!

This is a lovely church, and quite worth the visit. While there, you must also slip next door and see the Veiled Virgin at the Presentation Motherhouse. It is a magnificent piece of sculpture, and photos can not do it justice.
