I stayed at the Humber Valley resort for 3 weeks, during the summmer of 2006. I had just the best time there, we did everything from whale watching, kayaking, hiking in the close by Gros Morne National Park. It was so enjoyable that our family will return in the winter for some fun in the snow! more

I participated in a group trip of guys only to this resort in western Newfoundland along with about 30 colleagues from my investment firm across Canada. We flew directly to Deer Lake airport, about 30 minutes from Humber Valley resort. Our purpose was to play golf, socialize, drink, etc. First the golf: The course is only a couple of years... more

We stayed at Humber Valley resort last summer, yes it was expensive BUT what an experience! The people are so friendly, just think of 1950's England and the picture becomes clear. Not to say Newfoundland is 1950's, no, they are up to date with service and facilities but they just seem to be more approachable than the Americans we are... more

spent 10 days there over christmas and it was out of this world. one of the more unique places in the world. accomodation was top class and views beautiful. chalet is actually a 2000sq foot house set in an acre of trees on the edge of a golf course. shuttle buses within the resort to bring you up to restaurant... more
