Great Hiking for the inexperienced hiker. Well marked, paths, boardwalks, shoreline areas. Saw a number of moose in the fields. The film and the interpreters were able to provide a good background of the history of the Viking visits to the area. They were able to make history come alive.

L'Anse aux Meadows is a jewel of a national park. Beautiful to visit , fun and informative. The guides are fabulous. There is an explanatory movie as you come in that merits a 12 stars out of a possible 10! A must see attraction.

It is a long drive but well worth it. The characters are so interactive and knowledgeable, they made the site so enjoyable. From the hearth fires, to the loom and knitting to the weapons, we had a great afternoon. Plus all the moose we saw all along the way.
