We visited the historic site in July of 2009. You really need to take the guided tour to understand what you're seeing (it's included in the admission price). The loghouse re-creation with costumed guides was very interesting and informative. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. more
L"Anse aux Meadow has it all. Entering the park , we saw our first moose wandering around. The visitor center was informative and had a museum with artifacts from the discoveries from the site. A village had been reconstructed which resembled the village that the vikings live in 1000years ago and guides attired in viking garbs were friendly and informative... more
