Colorful and fun.

Strolled through before leaving St John. Lots to see and eat or take away. Vendor shared some history with us. Would recommend for breakfast, lunch or snacks.

I love visiting this old market. My favorite day to visit is Saturdays, as there are more vendors. Habib's Turkish food is fantastic and very authentic and he is only there on Saturdays. The North Market Fish Vendor has the best Maple Flavored Indian Candy!!!

While the City Market looked interesting, the whole town is depressed. If you use www.discoversaintjohn.com -- please don't be fooled as I was. This website completely misrepresents the city itself. It is not vibrant, nor full of energy. It was depressing and lifeless and the energy just felt so sad for all of us.

Be sure to at least walk through this market when you are in Saint John. It has an old time feel and there are lots of goodies to sample. The Korean food is especially tasty. There is a lovely solarium to sit in while dining.

Five of us visited the Saint John city market. Mostly food but it does have some clothing and craft items etc. Certainly worth visiting when in Saint John.

This is a great little market to stop at, it is nothing huge, and its mostly food so its great if thats what your going for, its not a flea market, so if your looking for trinkets, clothing or souvenirs, there is some, but not a lot. Which is perfect because we go to the market to grab food to... More

It was a neat way to experience the culture of the city. I loved seeing all the local products. There are several ethnic eateries in the city market. We bought some Canadian maple syrup in the market. I LOVED the fact there are hand sanitizer dispensers all over the market as well as sinks to wash your hands.

This is an excellent market with delicious fresh foods. Even though it is not a huge market, it still has a good variety with reasonable prices.
