Date stop

Find memory from our first date keeps us returning again and again. This is a small town zoo, and they make due. Passionate caretakers make a huge difference.

While it leaves much to be desired, they do their best and the staff is very friendly. The last time I was there with my children one of the staff offered to take the bunnies out so my kids could pet them, it made their day and in turn, mine. It is kept clean and well maintained.

Climbing all over the exhibits and areas that were clearly posted do not climb or walk anywhere other then the path. The so called counselors were sitting at the beginning not... More

There are bigger zoos, there are fancier zoos, however this one has (currently) a tiger, who will say hello to you (ask staff how a tiger says hello) a snow leopard that could, I am told, jump 30 feet from a sitting position, but just like your house cat, really doesn't care to impress you, (except she is pretty) some... A great opportunity to see animals from around the world for an affordable price. A great learning experience and never is too packed.

It's best that Saint John has zoo but for the most part it's nothing too exciting. On the other hand it is a great place to take kids!
