We went and saw a wonderful performance. The actors/actresses were wonderful people from toronto and Saint John and I would reccomend going to the Imperial theatre to anyone. They have shows for young children right through to seniors.

I went on a school field trip to the Imperial Theatre during the year of it's grand reopening in 1994. I was 10 years old and I still remember looking up in awe at the huge chandelier! The amazing acoustics and beautiful architecture make every concert or show an amazing and unique experience. I wish there were more shows there... More

It looks, feels and sounds like a Classic Victorian theatre. The acoustics are excellent, the seats are comfortable, though there's not much knee room if you're close to six feet tall. There is an eclectic series of concerts and shows to choose from - usually running for a few days, but sometimes just a single performance. If you want to... More

Amazing acoustics and no volume required... Grand detail and ornate accents are just the beginning here. The quality of the sound produced whether you are enjoying your favorite singer or Broadway play will leave you in awe!

The Imperial started off in it's hayday as a Theatre, and then it became the Full Gospel Assembly which this Pentecostal Church had for several decades preserving it's history for when it was sold back to the city and refurbished back to it's former glory.
