I've lived in the Moncton area most of my life. I remember going to the Zoo as a little kid, when it was just a game farm. After visiting this last Fall, I was amazed at the improve the in the Zoo. The animal enclosures are bigger than a lot of the major zoos Ive visited in big cities. There... More

I remember going to this zoo when it was a game from...it's now an accreditated zoo - and such an amazing facility. Having seen some of the largest (and biggest budget) zoos in Canada and the United States, I can say that this is one of the prettiest/greenest zoos I've seen. I love the bear habitat - it's large, lush... More

The animals arent taken care of and have inadequate enclosures.. I wouldn't put convicts in there let alone poor animals.

Look like a great place to take children. We had taken our children to the Magnetic Hill back in the day when the road was gravel. Now it's paved and has an added attraction of restaurants and craft shopping. Very nice little area and well kept up.

My 6 yr old love this place but it is sad. The enclosures are all tiny and the deer that you can feed are covered in tumours. I just felt bad for the big animals in the small enclosures. Especially the big cats and bears. You can see where the animals have walked the exact same path so may times... More

A great zoo representing a wide variety of animals from around the world. Well laid out park, with plenty to see for old and young alike.

This is one of the best zoo's. It is amazing to see all the species of animals they have. I go every year and always seem to see something different each time. It is a very well kept zoo and my family loves it.

Of course, this zoo is fairly small because of where it is located, but it has a tremendous selection of animals from several continents, including kid favorites lions and tigers. They have worked hard to get away from cages over the last 10 years, and now really have a much more animal friendly zoo (which of course is a bit... More

Moncton is not a very large city but this zoo punches way above its weight class. There is constant improvement to the animal areas and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A number of summer programs are available for "Jr. zookeepers" which are great and the kids seem to enjoy them. If you are looking to spend an entertaining... More

You really feel as if your car is rolling up hill; yet you are on a descending hill. It is worth the $5. The zoo is small but you can get up close to the animals.
