Description: Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton...
Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the City’s traditional Saturday morning (6am-1pm) gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation. With more than 250 indoor and outdoor local suppliers from along the St. John River Heritage Corridor and across the Province, The Market (as it’s known here) is the place to discover seasonal products like fiddleheads and blueberries , ultra-fresh produce, including organics, meats & seafood, cakes & confections, breads, cheeses & homemade jams, fresh-squeezed juices & New Brunswick wines, artisan chocolates, specialty coffees & beans. Ethnic delicacies, from Chinese buns to Lebanese stuffed grape leaves and the City’s famous samosas, are also a big part of The Market tradition. A vibrant space with one-of-a-kind gifts, colourful and quirky, finds include pottery, jewellery, paintings, textiles and lawn sculptures. Breakfast is served up on site, either inside from the restaurant or outside in either of our two Food Alleys where it’s falafel sandwiches and buffalo burgers galore.

A visit to the Boyce Farmer's Market leaves you with a wonderful feeling, not because of all the wonderful items there to purchase, but because of the friendliness that lives there. You see so many of the same faces there week after week. It truly is a wonderful place. You can shop for your fruit, veggies, dairy products, baked goods,... More

It's the first time I saw so many people gathered in Freddy! This market is so famous and crowded. You can find colourful local and worldwide products including food, juices ,crafts and so on. Good to visit every Saturday morning and you can drop by Science East if you have kids.

I strongly believe that this is the best farmer's market in Canada. It has lots of produce and raw food items alongside prepared and street foods and art and crafts. And the products are varied and of good quality. It is the place to be on Saturday mornings in Fredericton. I personally find the indoors to be much too narrow... More

We go to the market as many Saturdays as we can. We have our favorite things we enjoy getting each time we are there and love finding little gems as well. Produce is always fresh and most vendors are so quick to help.

The market is a beautiful way to spend Saturday morning. It gets really busy by 10 am. There is a large variety of products being sold and the breakfast is always farm fresh and amazing. The breakfast poutine is a new favorite!

The Boyce Farmers market is an awesome place to visit. I have been there twice. This time, I really did not expect alot happening as it is early in the season but was surprised with the amount of vendors outside of the main building selling everything from flowers to food and wines. The prices are comparable to most artisans. Inside... More
