The farmers market was not something we had planned to do, but read about it and decided this would be a great way to experience local culture (food, music, arts/crafts, and the people) This is a great indoor/outdoor market with a nice variety of items and a little something for everyone. We ate our way through and found the people... More

My wife and I brought our kids to market on July 5, 2014. Very wild day but everyone was cheerful and in great spirits. They thoroughly enjoyed every minute and can hardly wait to return in the near future. Wish I lived closer so we could do it every weekend.

I've been to quite a few markets in the maritimes and this market by far is my favorite....especially in the summer! The outdoor food trucks have an excellent variety of food and inside has a great mix of food and items for sale. The samosas and fresh OJ are my staples every time I go.

The food, the flowers, the vendors-This market is large and eclectic! If you are in Fredericton I would recommend visiting this market which is only open on Saturdays. However, a word of advice-Go EARLY or not at all. And, for goodness sake do NOT bring your baby stroller! Either walk to the market or park several blocks away and walk... More

Other times I have visited the market it has been very, very crowded. This time it was busy but not too crowded. We discovered a couple of new vendors -- one with French pates which are excellent. The quality of the bread continues to be disappointing. The main cheese vendor has a wonderful selection of cheeses.

When I went to university in Fredericton I discovered the market and made a point of going every Saturday. Now, many years later, my husband and I return every chance we get. The outdoor food vendors are awesome - especially Hans The German with their sausages and incredible sauerkraut. The sellers inside are great, too, with lots of homemade and... More

Get there early and take lots of cash as the vendors do not take debit and very few take mastercard and visa. Food is delish, crafts are a plenty. Highly recommended (Saturday mornings only 6am-1pm)

We were staying at the Lord Beaverbrook hotel just down the road from the farmers market and took a walk over on Saturday morning. There is an excellent array of fresh vegetables, meat and fish as well as plenty of delicious cooked morsels. I enjoyed browsing through the crafty stalls and only wish I could have bought more. I can... More
