Description: Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton...
Recognized as one of Canada’s top 10 community markets, the Fredericton Boyce Farmers Market is the City’s traditional Saturday morning (6am-1pm) gathering spot downtown for fresh and healthy foods, craft, creativity and conversation. With more than 250 indoor and outdoor local suppliers from along the St. John River Heritage Corridor and across the Province, The Market (as it’s known here) is the place to discover seasonal products like fiddleheads and blueberries , ultra-fresh produce, including organics, meats & seafood, cakes & confections, breads, cheeses & homemade jams, fresh-squeezed juices & New Brunswick wines, artisan chocolates, specialty coffees & beans. Ethnic delicacies, from Chinese buns to Lebanese stuffed grape leaves and the City’s famous samosas, are also a big part of The Market tradition. A vibrant space with one-of-a-kind gifts, colourful and quirky, finds include pottery, jewellery, paintings, textiles and lawn sculptures. Breakfast is served up on site, either inside from the restaurant or outside in either of our two Food Alleys where it’s falafel sandwiches and buffalo burgers galore.

The Boyce Farmers market is an awesome place to visit. I have been there twice. This time, I really did not expect alot happening as it is early in the season but was surprised with the amount of vendors outside of the main building selling everything from flowers to food and wines. The prices are comparable to most artisans. Inside... More

This Saturday market runs from very early Saturday mornings 'til 1 pm, and as its name implies, its focus - though not exclusively - is food. Located within the Fredericton city centre core, just minutes from Queen and King streets, it happens within a suitably sized L-shaped building and adjacent outer space. The range of goods on offer spans everything... More

it's quite bustling with musicians, beatboxers, fruit and veggie farmers, butchers, and there's a great smell throughout the air with the different foods and snacks. Some of my favourites - Roys Cinnamon Toasted Nuts - Sam the Juice Man - Lobster Rolls - Banks Crepes - Dumfries Maple Some of my Non Favourites - The Samosas at the Market -... More

This market has been around for ages. It's in an old building, is very crowded, there's limited parking but it has a classic market atmosphere. There's a good variety of meats, cheeses, produce, home baking and prepared take home foods plus lots of artisan stalls. There are many lunch stalls outside the building with a huge variety of food. You... More

My son & I love going to the market. When Daddy is away for business, we get up early & head to the market....he's all about the food....I am always about the crafts, woodwork etc. Great way to support our locals.

We came from out West and love purchasing organic farm fresh meats, and supporting local farmers. We were able to find Yerxa's meat while we were visiting for such a great price and quality! We also purchase fresh eggs and orange juice. Great place to grab breakfast as well. Lots of other brilliant vendors as well!

This is an awesome market. Outside there is a ton of amazing food vendors. The samosa line looks crazy but goes quickly. Any of the donair places are top notch and you can't beat the schnitzel at Hans the German. Inside is lots of local vendors that have meat, produce, woodworking, jewelry and anything else you can think of. My... More
