Light up the grill at the Lighthouse

While short on menu selections (basically a small list of things that can be grilled) we loved sitting on the patio for a recent lunch at the Lighthouse On The Green. My wife... read more

Tables on decking ( in open) beside lighthouse overlooking river. Great on warm day but very exposed. Serve good beer (picaroons) and other ales and ciders. Bit of mystery where serving staff went to as no one around for long periods but once found were friendly and efficient. Food option is barbecued chicken, ribs , hot dogs etc on paper... More

Visit this valuable place of interest by 2 bucks is wise. You can enjoy the view of Saint John River. They also offer nice pictures to introduce fishing development and kids have puzzles to play in the lighthouse. Image enjoying a cup of beer or ice cream with barbeque and music in a cool summer days. Awesome experience.

I have never eaten a meal here so I can't comment on the food, although the deck looks inviting. The ice cream, however, is overpriced and I think it's ridiculous that they charge money for you to climb to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy your ice cream. This should be free as the experience is lacklustre.

Although the food was great (with exception to the lack lustre, under cooked ribs) the prices deserved to be accompanied with real silverware. The plastic forks and knives, coupled with the paper plates made us feel like we were eating at a roadside grease shop. I expected more from a restaurant run by one of the premier hotels in our... My boyfriend and I visited the Lighthouse for burgers this evening. We had heard that the burger was better than anything that is offered at Relish. I was welcoming the challenge. We arrived and found a table quite quickly. After browsing the menu and waiting ten minutes we decided to head up to the window to order. We weren't sure... More

While short on menu selections (basically a small list of things that can be grilled) we loved sitting on the patio for a recent lunch at the Lighthouse On The Green. My wife had the grass-fed burger (delicious, with a sweet bun specially made by the pastry chef) and I had the bacon-steamed mussels (also delicious). I loved the bacon-vegetable... More

Met with a couple of Friends for a quick bite to eat and enjoy the evening sun. Location - Right on the river, downtown. There is only a patio, so closed during bad weather. Food - Simple and Delicious. Lobster, Scallops, Fish and Chips. Service - Order and pickup at the window. This is all about the Patio. Which is... More

The Lighthouse is a great sight and site to visit while strolling along the waterfront. It makes for terrific photos and an up close look at a lighthouse.

We popped by for a quick snack after enjoying festivities across the street in Officer's Square. Had a veggie burger (decent!) and some potato salad (average). Waited a half hour for the burger but enjoyed it in the end. There is beer, but no club soda. That is something that could be offered in a can, and would be a... More
