Friendly service, staff are helpful, typically fried food, seafood and usual fries and burgers, fast, tasty. Close to the down town. Great beers, locally brewed. Beautiful views. Great for a quick lunch. Quaint.

So we go to Fredericton today to take in the Canada day festivities. We stop at the Lighthouse on the Green (snack bar) for a couple of beers and bbq sausages on buns.....$32 later......that's right folks $32 for 2 beer and 2 sausages. To say we were gobsmacked would be an understatement. Moral of this story is if you are... More

We walk down on the green summer, spring and fall and enjoy a ice cream or a break at the Lighthouse. There are bikes there you can rent if you choose to bike instead of walk, you are right along the water so there is always a nice breeze.

Part of the nice stroll you can take through the city, coming across the Lighthouse is an interesting sight. It provides some striking architecture for the city and compliments the paths near the town park.

Stunning views and lots of historical information on your way up to the top. During season (summer months) they even have an ice cream parlor/food in the bottom and a place to sit outside.

The museum was inexpensive and interesting for adults and kids. The view is nice, but won't take your breath away. The ice cream was delicious, but a bit pricey. Worth a stop when visiting Fredericton.

I've only ever been to the lighthouse for one reason: Fredericton's AWESOME outdoor summer yoga classes. Every Wednesday evening through July-August a local teacher offers an outdoor by donation class. It's a great way to try something new, and the proceeds support a charity of that teachers choice. I love it.
