A must visit for a unique lunch or to enjoy a homemade ice cream cone while taking in the gorgeous views from the deck. For those looking for exercise you are able to climb to the top of the Lighthouse.

When out for a walk along the Saint John River and the downtown core, the lighthouse is always a stop point but with the addition of a lunch menu, it's now the perfect patio to stop a while for a light bit of lunch and cool drink. There's lots of ice cream for the kids ... big kids too. The... More

The kids really enjoyed the lighthouse. You don't just run up the stairs and get to the top. On each landing there are very large wooden puzzles to be put together, all with nautical themes. They also have artifacts such as old newspaper clippings to read. The view from the top is pretty and downstairs they sell ice cream. This... More

We stopped here on a Sunday for a late lunch. The food was great and the patio gave a fantastic view of the St. John River. We only wished we had found the spot earlier. The lighthouse can be seen from the downtown square, but you don't know there is a restaurant until you walk over to the front of... More

This lighthouse is right on the waterfront of the st-john river in fredericton. It is on of the 2 places to eat right by the water. All outdoor eating area on a big deck. The menu is limited (8choices) but all look tasty. Had the 3 cheese grill cheese panini with a side salad (very good) bottles of coors and... More

Friendly service, staff are helpful, typically fried food, seafood and usual fries and burgers, fast, tasty. Close to the down town. Great beers, locally brewed. Beautiful views. Great for a quick lunch. Quaint.

So we go to Fredericton today to take in the Canada day festivities. We stop at the Lighthouse on the Green (snack bar) for a couple of beers and bbq sausages on buns.....$32 later......that's right folks $32 for 2 beer and 2 sausages. To say we were gobsmacked would be an understatement. Moral of this story is if you are... More

We walk down on the green summer, spring and fall and enjoy a ice cream or a break at the Lighthouse. There are bikes there you can rent if you choose to bike instead of walk, you are right along the water so there is always a nice breeze.

Part of the nice stroll you can take through the city, coming across the Lighthouse is an interesting sight. It provides some striking architecture for the city and compliments the paths near the town park.
