Owner description: Located in the penthouse of The Fort Garry Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre national historic site in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, Ten Spa is a world-class destination of indulgent spa luxury. Each Ten Spa treatment has evolved after years of research at many of the world’s foremost spas, as well as hard-to-find ethnic parlors. Once each treatment is created, our staff is trained to customize each service to find skin and body-care solutions for every situation. All treatments and services are based on classic techniques infused with a modern edge. There are no fad driven trends here – only results. So, whether it’s a facial, body scrub, massage, body cocoon, pedicure or manicure, our cutting edge treatments will provide unmatched results which soothe and nurture. Dubbed, “The hottest, steamiest, most exotic place in Canada” by the Ottawa Citizen, the Hamam at Ten is a modern reinterpretation of the Turkish Roman hot air bathing ritual. Offering several levels of treatment, all hamam experiences are relaxing and detoxifying; they stimulate circulation, cleanse and activate skin metabolism.

Ten Spa is one of the classiest spas in Winnipeg, very pricey but overall decent service. Most of those who work there are very young so to get the better servicve, ask to have someone who has been there for over a year..

The treatments are fine, but a warning - My friend had her itouch stolen from her purse a couple of weeks ago, which was locked in their locker room. The spa takes no responsibility so I suggest leaving your purse/valuables at home or in your hotel room!!

Ten spa decadent, an incredible experience. The level of service is superior with the attention to details that far exceed the typical spa. Highly recommend the Haman treatment, this will take you to whole new world of relaxation.

We spent a weekend at the Fort Garry Hotel for our anniversary and opted for the Retreat for Two package at the Ten Spa. This was the first time to experience a Hamam and it is by far our most favorite spa experience. The massage and facial were good as well but the treatments at the Hamam were the best.... More

I can't say enough about Ten Spa. I was cautious about going to a hammam since this was my first experience. I was wrong to hesitate; it was a decadent experience. They ask you to arrive a 1/2 hour early to answer some health questions, to show you around and to offer you some tasty snacks. The change rooms are... More

Ten Spa is overrated. Buy a robe & quality product & go elsewhere for professional service.Check in was confuseing as I was shown the facility including steam room & after my treatment was advised steam only for limited services. My complaint being, read fine print on gift cards. I received a gift card for 2 services & the rates had increased... More

I've been for countless massages at Ten Spa and have enjoyed every one of them. The facilities are top notch and the massages themselves have been great. Noting in the past that the clock has always been mysteriously "missing" from the room at the end of the massage, I found it this last time, hiding wrapped up in wet towels... More

I called to book a scrub and cocoon and on the phone made it clear about my allergy to lavender and were there any treatments that were lavender free, I was assured that they could provide this. Unfortunately, the Jurlique face cleanser contained lavender and was used twice on my face, the technician was about to cover me in a... More

A friend and I recently did the 'Intro to Hammam' treatment at the spa. The hammam is a turkish inspired steam bath room. To prepare, first you are given mint tea and a turkish delight. Then you enter the steamy hammam and apply salt scrub to yourself. Then you lay on a marble slab and get your head, neck, shoulders,... More

Went for a massage and did not have good time. This place is overated. They have a shower where you can select different options of relaxation which is nice but it only lasts about 30 seconds. The changerooms were small and the masseuses were rude. We specifically asked for two female masseuses and they screwed up and gave us one... More
