No need to review this poorly run facility as it closed due to mismanagement. The management there would rather run films to an empty theatre rather than give schools a group rate. With no one attending afternoon shows, the place went out of business.

Went here a couple of times over the last year or so and both cases had good experiences. Only complaint is that I couldn't use my scene card. Nice to watch movies at a big screen like that. Sad to see them close!

I'm very sad to see the IMAX in portage place is closing. The movies there were awesome. Well worth the money and the huge screen. The experience of being in the movie was great.

With a re-done re-vamped look the Imax is better than ever! With friendly staff and stunning 3D it makes the ideal summer destination

Been a long time since I was last at an Imax, took 2 of my grandchildren to see "Bears" and it was a spectacular documentary. The pictures are amazing and it is crystal clear. We enjoyed it very much

The Imax in Portage Place in downtown Winnipeg has the biggest screen in the city - by far. Much larger than the Imax screen at Polo Park's Ciniplex. It's clean, comfortable and convenient as it is centrally located. Best of all, your underground, heated parkade is free, as the Imax will validate your parking.

I love how the screen is so large. You really get immersed in the show.

It's IMAX! What can one add? Go see the nature or space films.

Imax is a great place to see movies in the big screen. You do have to pay for parking in the parkade down below. Keep in mind there is not much else to do at Portage Place other than Imax. The shopping there is poor to say the least.
