The standard Pavillions and new Pavillions every year. I do not care for the bus tours that are expensive to take, however, they put you at the front of the venue. Sometimes I feel the local's are not treated as well as out-of-towners!

Loved going to the pavilions. We visited 6 venues over the two week festival. During week one we visited the Chilean, Ukrainian and Brazilian pavilions. We enjoyed the Greek, Celtic Ireland and the German pavilion during the second week. We loved the food, the displays and the entertainment. Be sure to take advantage of the Fun Pack tickets. Thank you for taking the time to review Folklorama 2014. The Vickar Automotive Group Fun Packs (12 tickets for the price of 9) are perfect for couples or families visiting several pavilions and can be purchased at locations around the city during the festival. Wonderful opportunity to taste the food and drink of various countries around the world, see a performance of dancers, singers, etc. Many of them also have hands on exhibits that allows you to try your hand at some of the things that locals in that country do.

Folklorama has to be the most unique city event that there is! When my children were younger and I couldn't afford to fly around the world, this was the one event we would never miss. Every family member would enjoy the food, entertainment and souvenirs from around the world. It is a don't miss when visiting Winnipeg in August!!

The Pavilion of Scotland is one of the few "Come & Go" Pavilions that run during Folklorama. What a feeling of being Welcome. You are not herded in and out for each show, like other Pavilions. As a matter of fact, they encourage you to stay! The food is excellent, the Scotch is smooth and the Innis & Gunn is... More
