Nice beach, didn't find too much else there. Not much for restaurants or shops.

During the week is the best time for families. I grew up going to Grand Beach, also my parent did as children and teens as well.

We like to camp there a few times each year. the beach is amazing, the campground is good, lots of things to do. we love it as family activity

The last time we were at Grand beach 3 feet onto shore was green and slimy from Algae. The water frothed with in as well. My son was seriously dissapointed. We ended up sitting in the shade and enjoying our picnic lunch, but we hesitate to go back the in case of a repeat.

This is the kind of place you wished you could spend your entire summer as a high school kid. . a boardwalk, food stands, beautiful sand, and great water. . add some sun, and you've got a perfect day.

Visited Grand Beach Campground during the week in June and we had the whole bay to ourselves which was awesome! I expect it would be very busy on weekends.
Thankfully we brought firewood because the store was closed most of the time. Make sure to be aware of black bears and keep your campsite clean, they trapped one in front...

Beautiful white sands! With nice weather, this beach is comparable to some I've been to in the caribbean (minuse the blue water)
