This ballet company is not only the pride and joy of Winnipeg, it is simply one of the best companies in the world. Their performance of the Nutcracker is so much fun, I have never seen another performance or interpretation like it. RWB has produced and showcased excellent leading dancers, but the corp proves itself over and over, especially in... More

It is worth pay and watch. Their show is very good. Sometimes they do the show in the Assiniboine park to the public for free.

Rwb dance camp was real experience for our child. Really inspired our child. Was not easy but full on experience for kids with talent giving full exposure via one of the worlds best dance schools. A real treasure for Winnipeg

The ballet in the park is really beautiful. It's awesome, because there's a place for those who want to sit on the grass and there's also a place for those who bring chairs so you always have a good view. I also like that you can buy food, play sports or just enjoy the show.

It is always nice to see how hard these people have worked and the magic that they put together. I have seen sets where the stage is barely decorated, and other times where what you see makes your jaws drop. It really is a nice experience, but I must admit that for myself, it is a bit too long of... More

If you're in Winnipeg - worth the visit; take in a show or Ballet in the Park in late July. Talented and professional staff.

During my visit to Winnipeg, I wanted to do as many "quintessential" things as possible - and the RWB was top of the list. I splurged for a top-priced seat ($103), but I'm sure that I would have been happy with a seat farther back (next time), because it's not like the Centennial Concert Hall is a hockey arena. I... My daughter and I attend RWB's production of The Nutcracker every Christmas for her birthday. I think we enjoy it more each year, it never gets old!

I recently saw the Royal Winnipeg Ballet perform "Romeo and Juliet" to Sergei Prokofiev's masterpiece based upon the magnificent tragedy of 1597 by William Shakespeare. In case you are not familiar with Prokofiev`s music, pop on over to the you tube and paste in this link for a taste of what I am talking about - http://youtu.be/bBsKplb2E6Q (approx. five minutes...
